This shoe store/repair shop was recommended to my husband by his orthopedic surgeon. It's small and unassuming in it's strip mall location, but if you have special foot care needs in shoes, this is the best place to visit. Cesar is ""famous"" for fitting any kind of foot...and until last year was still making ""orthopedic"" shoes for elephants. He sold his saddle sewing machine so he just doesn't have equipment to do that work anymore. But really...if the guy can make shoes for elephants, he can make or fit a shoe for us big-footed humans, don't you think? Well, I'm here to tell you it's true.
He also sells some shoes in hard to fit sizes (especially for men) and I can tell you from personal experience that he will work with any shoe to try and make it comfortable for you until it works. We must have spent 3 hours in his shop while he stretched and fiddled with a pair of shoes for my husband to get them just right. I gladly paid whatever price he asked. The man worked magic to fit my husbands 13EEEE foot with a very high instep.
While we were there, we met other new customers but also very long time customers and a woman who drives all the way from San Diego county to have Cesar work on her insoles.
I can't recommend Cesar enough if you have hard to fit feet!!! Give the man a visit!
