Check it out. I went to see a Dr Connelly on May 19th at this place after waiting about 30 minutes he finally came to call me in. I was greeted with a what can I do for you. I go over my back pain history explaining to him that I've been to P.T. and do exercises for treatment prescribed by a chiropractor. He reviews my history form which I filled out while waiting for him. To make a long story short I have seen many doctors this neurologist was to help me with pain as he is part of the pain clinic. Right off the bat (no exam) he immediately asked me if I see a therapist which I replied yes to. I have no problem being honest but to my dismay he then asked if I talk with her about my back pain. Well of course I don't I see her for other reasons. I was confused. I was sent to see him for back pain, tingling and burning sensation in my back. Immediately he states that this is all stressed related checked me for neurological reflexes (1 minute ) and then proceeds to tell me there will be no treatment or injections for pain. Oh he also told me a scan would not show much since the pain is just from stress. Better not forget the part of try to loose weight and exercise maybe try yoga in saying that he pretty much sent me on my way. So when I said thats it he responds by saying try that for 2 months then you can come back and see me if you want. I've heard so many women say this is how doctors treat them WHACKO ITS ALL IN YOUR HEAD well this is a first for me. My primary care doctor sent me to see him for help he is aware of my medical history. He also knows I go to see a counselor for reason other than chronic back pain. So I guess my point is don't waste your time with these people. He could certainly use a brush up on his patient etiquette. I bet he bills my insurance a nice fat bill. I don't think he deserved the $20.00 copay I paid never mind the chunk from my health plan
