I just called the Nearly New Shoppe, and I was very dissatisfied. The woman that answered the phone was hateful and very short with her words when I asked her a question. I said "I have 2 prom dresses that I'd like to sell. They're size...then she proceeds to cut me off and said "we prefer to have an appointment with you and don't bother right now because we only accept prom dresses (in a disgusted tone) in January and February, and September through February.I said okay, and hung up the phone. I WILL NOT sell my beautiful and expensive prom dresses to a bunch of ill mannered, snooty, barbarians. more

Horrible and Rude 10/28/2009

I have one word to describe these people. Rude!!! I drove 30 minutes there to see if they would be interested in some of my clothes. I had all of them hung up and pressed. When I arrived, they told me I had to have an appointment. Which I understand because I know they have to inspect the clothes, etc. I said well I wish I would have known that before I loaded my car up and drove 30 minutes. The woman's reply was, "You should have called and had a cold hard look on her face." She treated me like I was five. The old hag obviously needs to learn some customer service skills. I would not recommend this shop to anyone buying or selling. more

Clothes for the whole family! 8/5/2005

This is a great place to find gentely used and even new clothes, shoes and accessoires for the whole family. They only carry quailty items that are in great clean condition. The store is is well organized and the people who work there are super friendly. They offer changing rooms to try things on and their prices are way beyond reasonable. Great place for back to school shopping and they will sell your stuff on consignment as well. Win..Win situation! more

Clothes Anyone 8/3/2005

This is a wonderful place to find gently used clothing,shoes and accessories for the whole family. I have never found anything that looks more than almost new in this shop. A lot of items are still new with the tags still attached and the prices are fantastic. The shop is well organized, neat , friendly and provides dressing rooms to try on items before you buy. They also will take your gently used items and sell them on a consignment basis. more
