Mystic Journey Bookstore

I'm half laughing and crying at the same time after shopping at this rip-off place that masks itself as spiritual. So its my 11th year anniversary and I dodge into the store to buy my sweetheart a crystal. I place one crystal on the counter and as I look down in the display for another one.....the girl rings it up. So I tell her that I was still looking and bought a small wand instead. So they canceled the transaction. When I got home I gave the wand to my wife. She laughed.... as one of her clients had just giver her one a few days earlier. I also looked at my bank account to make sure the first transaction was canceled and sure enough it wasnt. So I get back in the car and drive all the way back. When I get there.....the guy tells me to wait 24 hours for the transaction to go through....even though I know my bank returns ......go back into my account immediately. He also announces that there are no returns on crystals. And over to one corner.....is a small sign stating so. Yet on the sign....it also something that says on any other item(besides crystals)....its only a 3 day return and only store credit is given back. So lets say you get a book for your birthday from a friend..... you cannot get another book if you have already read it. Youre stuck with it. What a great policy for a book store that is very limited in selection and has more crystals than books. Buyer beware.....once you give them money you will never see it again. But the saga is not over for me as I now have to wait 24 hours and go back yet again tomorrow to make sure they credit my account for the first transaction that I didnt authorize. STEER CLEAR on this sham store is my advice. more

My Destiny was changes once and for all , as I was looking for answers to how I can Express the full spectrum of my talents to the world . I remember the day I walked in to the Mystic Journey Book Store. I will never forget that moment . I walked in and all my Energy Shifted to this creative, open spiritual channel. I was talking to someone and all the sudden I was a new person enhancing there life in seconds. Finally One of the Spiritual Masters walked up to me and said these words ""Your calling is to make Holistic Self Discovery your main task and to help people. This will be your main Living style"" This thought was the exact thought I was fighting with and an angel delivered clarity. From that moment on, I took all my forces and began attending workshops at Mystic and I was invited to give workshops too. more

Had a reading with Marcella today. She was actually pretty good. It seemed to go by really quick with 30 minutes. But I got the gist of what I needed to know. Thought Marcella was pretty on with me considering she had no idea of my background. I would recommend her. Would be curious to see how the other readers are too, though. The bookstore itself is really clean and they've got a good selection of books. There are chairs to sit down and the music is very soothing to hear when you're looking at the books. Glad they have this bookstore on Abbott Kinney now! Pros: Readers + books = FUN! Cons: What are the drawbacks? more

I went to Mystic Journey for the first time today and I had the great pleasure of receiving a reading from Marcella...initially I was going to have a 30 minute reading but after 15 minutes I knew that I wanted to have 1hr ! as a reader myself I knew immediately she was truly gifted. Marcella described a scenario and advice that she was offering to me about a certain situation going on in my life and I was amazed that it was pretty much identical to a dream I had 48 hours prior to speaking to her...she gave me clarity and guidance with absolute gentle sincere kindness that was more than appreciated. This book store is warm and welcoming and in a great location. I found a couple of holiday gifts while I was there and will definitly go back! They told me there will be readings and book signings, can't wait! Pros: Huge selection, Welcoming, Great Customer Service more
