Many of the other teachers seemed great and my son seems to really enjoy class and the teacher. more

I do feel my child has grown and learned a lot over the past year, the head infant teacher is (wonderful). more

Ever since my child has been coming here she has learned so much she always comes home with something to talk about. Those teachers are good and I wished more teachers were more dedicated. more

Briana has loved going to Mrs. really hates to leave it. She has learned a tremendous amount. We can never thank you enough for that. Shes has enjoyed making so many friends. As you know, our goal is for our son to live independently someday. Most of the time the public schools look to segregate people with disabilities into life skills classes and out of the general education classes. This is not acceptable to us and would keep him from developing the kinds of relationships that will allow him to live independently with the help of peers. You should know that you have helped put us on a path to this goal. Because you were able to help him be successful in a typical class, we can show the public schools that regular classrooms can work for our son. When we did his education evaluation, his socialization tested in the normal range, which I attribute directly to his full inclusion in typical situations such as MRS. You reached out and took a chance on us. He is better for it and I think all he has touched at the school are better for it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. more

I did a lot of research before enrolling my eldest daughter at MRS. I was especially impressed with the level of dedication Ms. Donna and her staff offered in transitioning my daughter into a new social and academic environment. They have always been eager to work closely with me to help my daughter grow into her own confidence and independence. I have since enrolled my younger daughter and am equally pleased to see that she is thriving at MRS. I can’t say enough about the support and encouragement my family and I have received at Montessori Rainbow School. more

I have trusted my child with this daycare/school since my child was 17 months old. She is now 5 years old and will be ready for public school. We were referred to this school by a family friend who enrolled their child there as well and was very happy with the services offered. We would not have selected this school had we not felt that the staff was involved in the daily care and tutoring of our child to the level that we expected. The low teacher to child ratio is what caught our attention. I did not want my child to be a nameless face in a roomful of kids. My daughter tells me all the time how much she enjoys her classmates and loves to tell me about her daily activities. I feel that she has grown over the years to be a well mannered, happy and well adjusted child. She is eager to learn and I attribute that to the patient efforts of her tutors. My child has a less-than-desirable attention span but the school has found creative ways to engage her. You get out of the experience what y more

I do not agree with the negative reviews posted in this forum. I think some of the comments are unfair and unjustified. Montessori Rainbow has a terrific summer schedule packed with all kinds of fun field trips for the kids. They engage in fun events like an annual Christmas party for the parents and children, complete with Santa. The Director is not cold, she is practical. She has always been very receptive whenever we needed to talk about anything regarding our child, and has at times put into practice our suggestions or comments. In short, would I do this all over again if I had the chance? Absolutely. more

Teacher and director Donna Hutto really takes the time to learn her students' and their families' needs. The new facility has great outdoor activities for the kids, along with additional instruction in Spanish and computers. Our son is receiving great care and some special attention for his needs. I never worry about him when he's at "The Rainbow School." Periodic parties help make it fun. more

My daughter is a student at Montessori Rainbow and we think it is a wonderful school. The director and all the teachers are Montessori certified and have been with the school more than four years. The small teacher to student ratio means each child gets lots of individual attention. We love the home-like atmosphere. Even though our child is older, I am very impressed with the newly redesigned infant room. The babies are all happy and healthy and it is obvious that the new infant teacher adores babies! Thank you so much for making us feel welcome and comfortable during Graha's first week at school. Though the transaction has been a littel tough (mostly on out hearts) we feel so good about choosing MRS as Graha's home away from home. more
