Maria's Mexican & American

I've driven by Maria's Mexican for years and didn't eat there until recently because, frankly, it looks sort of like a dive from the outside. But after 20 years of driving by it, and being a big Mexican food fan, I finally gave in to temptation last year and tried it out. I could kick myself for not stopping sooner! Maria herself greets every customer that comes in. You seat yourself and your server comes soon with nachos and salsa. There are a lot of choices on the menu, and the prices are GREAT! I was most happy with the food. I've tried out Fernando's in Denham, Ninfa's in Baton Rouge, and Superior Grill in Baton Rouge, and Maria's is my favorite. The food tastes authentic and it's fresh, all the time. Give Maria's a try -- I think you'll like it as much as I do! more

Maria's Mexican restaurant located in Denham Springs has good Mexican Food. The service is truly outstanding with friendly and fast service. The food is good - not outstanding but not bad. The restaurant is always clean. Parking is good and the location is convenient - right on Florida Boulevard. Prices are very reasonable. more
