Very disappointed with our take out dinners. I ordered macaroni, meatballs.and eggplant The eggplant was actually stuck to the foil pan because it was burnt and the pasta was over cooked. My son had calamari siciliano which had way too much pasta for the amount of sauce in the dish and there was not much taste to the sauce, certainly no garlic taste. more

Good: I USED TO LOVE going to Marchetti when they had a caring sincere staff and management.. Bad: Having added costs to my meal without me be told or asked. Charging for a tiny single piece of cake definitely not the hugmongous size you get at Greggs and free for your birthday. I guess since they don't want my business I will be celebrating birthdays at Greggs from this day forth. Improvements: Have managers who actually want to keep patrons returning and giving them a salary rather than pissing them to never want to return. So disappointed with her attitude. Other: Definitely did not like the woman manager telling me that they definitely do not give complimetary birthday cakes when I told her I was there for my birthday on June 29 and Anthony had my waitress bring a complimentary birthday cake to me. I did not like feeling the attitude she was giving me that I was not telling her the truth. BTW it was so much better than what we received tonight that WE HAD TO PAY $6.00 for. We were given a meezsly little chocolate 1inch cake single portion +not worth the unexpected $. more

This is an italian restarunt that has great food. The sizes are unbelieveable and two people could share a meal. The prices are dirt cheap. The atmostphere and ok not a fancy place more of a family atmosphere. The staff is great and very nice, they make you feel at home. I highly recommend this resturant for a quick, inexpensive meal. more

Established in 1982, Marchetti's is a very popular Italian restaurant that offers large portion sizes at inexpensive prices in a casual atmosphere. Portion sizes are always enough to share or to take home left overs for another meal. The variety on the menu is vast - sandwiches, seafood, pasta, veal, chicken, steak and family style salad at every table. If you are a pasta fanatic (like me), you'll love my personal favorite, the Pasta Norma ($10.50) served with fresh eggplant, peppers, onions, and mushrooms sautéed in olive oil tossed with bowtie pasta in a light marinara sauce. The Swordfish Siciliano ($13.95) is another great dish. It's sautéed with roasted red peppers, hot pepper rings, and sliced black olives, tossed in a garlic butter and white wine sauce over linguine. Closed on Mondays but open every other day from lunch to dinner. Usually a wait on weekend nights but worth the wait. more
