Main Street Restaurant

I finally tried Main Street Restaurant because I drive past it nearly everyday and have wondered about it. So, I go and notice they serve breakfast all day - woo! I love breakfast. Then I notice one of those standup cardboard ads on the table for their malted pancakes. So I knew what I wanted! Waitress finally came to take the order - I asked for pancakes and then pointed to the ad on the table and said ""Are they these pancakes?"" She replied ""Sort of"" I said ""Uh, sort of? They either are these pancakes or they aren't"" She replied, ""Yeah, they are sort of like that"" At that point I should have known better. Long story short - everything was just ""okay"", nothing special, nothing to write home about. I was disappointed and well... the service was... lacking. This restaurant's been here for quite a long time. I finally got a chance to go there. It's not too bad. It's your typical 50's/60's style diner. At least it looks like it hasn't been redecorated in a while. I ordered the steak and eggs breakfast. It was pretty good. But that's pretty much all I can think to say. Nothing really stood out more than the older couple sitting in front of my booth who were arguing... more
