I've never met a more unprofessional office staff! Apartment walls/ceilings are paper thin. You can hear everything in the hallways, outside, and above you. They apartment wants access to your apartment atleast 3 times a month, which is absolutely ridiculous. They office staff will lie to your face. Mold in so many of the units that are just "temporarily fixed".\r \r I know most people read these reviews and assume the bad reviews mean someone has a bone to pick with this place, and shouldnt be taken seriously. But please trust me. This is the last place in New Smyrna Beach that you would want to live. more

Thanks for the heads up 10/12/2008

Wow. Mold and Mildew!! I was thinking about renting there with the great move in specials they are offering, but after reading this, not so sure now... But, what I don't understand, if this problem is as bad as many have stated, why hasn't the Board of Health been notified!! Isn't there something someone can do, you would think so!! more

Hated to leave 7/23/2008

We moved into Lymestone Ranch in the summer of 2006. We loved the apartments, the staff, especially Linda, was very nice. Maintenance was done fast and efficient. We never had problems with neighbors or the staff. I hated to move but relocated out of the area for my job. The problems I have read from other tenants were probably caused by poor communication, or by not listening to ways to correct the problem. WE NEVER had a problem with mildew, mold or the staff. I would move back in a heart beat if we moved back into the area. more

BEWARE 5/24/2006

I was originally drawn to this apartment complex, because it was conveniently located close to the interstate. It also was a brand new apartment with new appliances. It appeared to be a safe area as well. Since then I?ve discovered some major and serious problems though. I also had a mold problem in both bedrooms. When I originally moved in I was told that as long as I ran my central air system frequently it wouldn?t be a problem. Well it was all over the windows, sliding glass door, and sidewalls. I run my air consistently, and leave Damp Rid on the sills to help combat the problem. The second problem is parking. There are not assigned spaces so guests and people with multiple cars can park anywhere. Furthermore people will often leave their cars parked around the corners of the street which makes it difficult to pull out in the mornings and impossible for fire trucks to navigate through. Leaving Glencoe road in the mornings is a nightmare. Its extremely dangerous trying to head west more

Stay Far away 9/22/2005

We moved into Lymestone Ranch when they were first built. We were the first people to live in our unit. Little did we know that soon we would be frequently sick. We had a constant mold and mildew problem. Growth in the entry closet. I found black mold on my son's sleeping pillow (I had changed the case only a week before). We had to buy a dehumidifier and put it in our son's room. When we informed the front office we did this, they said all we had to do was ask and they would have provided one, since they have spares in the office (I wonder why?). My neighbor found mold growing up her wall and onto her baby crib. We were constantly battling mildew in our window sills. People do not pick up after their pets, even though there is a disposal system at many points in the complex. There is no playground or area for children. The children ride their bikes and play in the parking lot and in between cars. They do offer a gym and pool. One woman in the office seemed constantly snippy towards me more
