We are new to Texas and we decided to check out this restaurant to celebrate my husband's birthday. The decor was very "Texas like". They offer a wide variety of items on the menu to give you a choice of the "flavors" of Texas from the different areas of the state. It was a bit pricey. The service was "okay". We ordered "Texas shaped cornbread "with our meal. It arrived as we were finishing up. It was cold and we were charged $3.95 for the bread. There were so many "add on" prices that drove our bill UP! Some of this was on the menu and some wasn't. We ordered Dr. Pepper's and were charged $2.50 per 8oz bottle! We were disappointed in this aspect of the restaurant. The food wasn't bad. The steak was nicely flavored. My husband's shrimp was overly spicy. The baked potates were not very hot and tasted like they had been sitting for a while. Oh, well..... We can say, "been there, done that". (doubt we will do it again.) When I left we weren't overy impressed and I can't say that there was anything we ate that had a "Wow" factor to it.
Pros: Ambience
Cons: Price
