Best Karaoke in Town! 12/3/2010

Louie's is THE BEST karaoke place in all Sac Town! Great bartenders, awesome DJ's, best selection of songs anywhere! The people are great and come from every walk of life. Louie's is the ""home place"" to lots of people, include me and mine! Great bands on the weekends, karaoke several times a week with terrific and talented DJ's, new text-messaging information for customers, lots of fun events all the time now! Not the Louie's from years ago. A FUN, like-NEW place you just can't miss! more

THE WORST KARAOKE BAR EVER! 12/16/2008

I stopped in a few times because it is not far from my house. I have to say that the karaoke was the worst I've ever heard. The kj was a drunken idiot, (all 3 times) the sound was high and piercing and then to make it worse, the mic was so distorted the singer sounded like an a.m. radio. ONly reason that I give it a star is that the bartenders were cool each time. Pros: nice staff Cons: kj sucked more

Great ""off the beaten path"" dance bar 8/20/2008

It's been a while since I have had the privilege of getting out to let off some steam over at Louie's Lounge but if they still have fun bands like ""Stiff Kick"" to dance to and really friendly service, then I highly recommend this bar for a place to visit!! more

A fun place to dance all night long 6/1/2002

From a hole in the wall, that was a nice place to drink, to a brand new building, thats a great place to dance, shoot pool, or just visit with old time friends. Thats what Louie's Cocktail Lounge is all about. On the weekends it features some of Sacramento's finest bands to dance to, from jazz to rock. And then for the rest of the week there's pool, video games, or just a nice home town bar feel to it. more
