Best

The bartenders are fun and friendly, and there is a wide selection of spirits, beers on tap and in a bottle, and wine. The cheese dip is really good! Pros: great priced drink...

Worst

Atmosphere was horrible. This place is a restaraunt and I couldn't even hold a conversation with my table it was so loud. Food had incredibly fancy names but was just normal with ...

Good Food, Good Service...but.... 8/4/2009

Every time I have eaten here, its been good. Service, while slow at times, is always professional. Just beware of the reviews, two of them are from the owners, but please try this great restaurant out and form your own opinion. Pros: Steaks are great Cons: none to speak of more

happy hour is perfect for business or pleasure! 4/29/2009

The bartenders are fun and friendly, and there is a wide selection of spirits, beers on tap and in a bottle, and wine. The cheese dip is really good! Pros: great priced drinks/many options Cons: not as many food options during happy hour more

GREAT FOOD WITH A COOL ATMOSPHERE 4/27/2009

Lunch options and prices are a real treat, southern themed plate lunches are super. The dinner atmosphere is just right - comfortable, casual with white table cloths that don't make it pretentious. Pros: Lunch prices are a great value and dinner rocks more

Loco for Loca Luna! 4/26/2009

My husband and I frequent Loca Luna during the week because of the wine selection and the great menu! Try the Pork Osso Bucco when you go--it falls off the bone (which my dog later enjoys:). Also, the partio is great during nice weather--you feel like you're in an enchanted garden. We usually sleep in on the weekends, but recently were out early one Sunday and tried their brunch. Oh man, the crab cake benedicts were amazing!!! Pros: best brunch, bar, and atmosphere! Cons: On a busy, more parking would help more

Great Atmosphere, Most Fun 4/10/2009

When the weather's nice, the patio is a great place to hang out during happy hour. The bar's not too shabby either when it's not too crowded. This is a great place for dates or entertaining clients, which I do often. Unlike some of the other hang outs in Little Rock, you can actually get decent food at affordable prices. Their pizzas are pretty good as well. Pros: Atmosphere, Patio, Great Bar more

Distinctly Unimpressed 2/15/2009

Atmosphere was horrible. This place is a restaraunt and I couldn't even hold a conversation with my table it was so loud. Food had incredibly fancy names but was just normal with nothing special added. Came across to me as if they gave the fancy names as an excuse to charge higher prices. Menu included a long rant against the alcohol tax in Little Rock which I thought was a bit inappropriate. more

A little disappointing 5/22/2008

With all of the ""Hoopla"" involved with the name of this restaurant I always expected more than is delivered-there are better places to eat. In numerous trips there with co-workers and family, i have never left with a particularly ""special"" experience. Some of the food is exceptionally good, but it's a shot in the dark as to what u will get on any given evening/day. Stay away from their Chicken Salads-3 salads over 3 years = 3 chicken bones......... Pros: Exceptional Tasting Food Entrees Cons: Depends on the day/night/expensive more

Great Fish 3/24/2008

The Bass was tender, and the white wine reduction and caper sauce surprisingly delicately flavored. more

lackluster 2/14/2008

I don't usually write these things but something just has to be said Pros: good bar on the right nights Cons: cheap food priced up way too high more

Poor customer service from the hostess 1/27/2008

We ate at Loca Luna on Saturday night and were disappointed in our experience. The hostess was rude and short in her treatment of us. We did not have silverware or napkins until middle of our appetizers, although the hostess walked over to our table with some in her hand and turned around and walked off. Our waiter had to bring silverware and napkins to us, unrolled, which made him accidentallly drop the napkins in our food. Other than these things, the food was above average and the atmosphere was good, with the exception of the rude hostess. I do hope that she is made aware of her behavoir and asked to improve her treatment of customers, since they are the ones responsible for keeping the restaurant open. Pros: Parking was good, abience nice Cons: hostess's sour attitude more

Great customer service, Poor parking, Noisy, Not the best pizza I've ever had. 10/29/2007

I came with a group of eight people from work. It was so noisy you could barely hear what anyone was saying unless you were sitting next to them. We liked our waitress and the service was excellent. None of us had eaten there before, so we couldn't recommend anything to each other. I had ""Fried Pepperoni"" pizza, a house salad and ice tea. I wish I had chosen something else. If I go again, I'll get the grilled salmon. more

Nice atmosphere, good food. 10/10/2007

Waiter was stuck up and unfriendly. But all else was terrific, good food, and yes the cheese dip was good. Bartender served tasty martinis. Our group had a good time. Pros: Good martinis Cons: stuck up and unfriendly waiter more

Over-rated, Over-priced, and Over-hyped 10/8/2007

This pretentious, over-priced and over-hyped restaurant gets my award for the biggest sell-job in Little Rock. Their eclectic menu looks and sounds wonderful, but they salt everything to death and the service is dreadful. Pros: Well-Known Cons: Over-rated, Over-Priced, Over-Hyped more

This place is a dive! 6/5/2007

What a horrible thing; to write a review on your own restaurant. shame on you, but since i have your attention, I stepped into your place and thought that the food was very lacking and has nothing to offer the good people of little rock. The cheese dip is good but everything else is horrible. Push the cheese dip and drop some of the soups. Pros: how many times can we say cheese dip Cons: only eat cheese dip more

ha ha ha ha ha 4/1/2007

The reviewer ""markaber"" below would be Mark Abernathy, the owner. ""Brett Basset"" is also his step son. Do what you want with that but the other reviews are probably more accurate. more

cafeteria with waiters and dim lights 1/4/2007

Tries too hard to be something it isn't. The prices wouldn't be so bad if the food was prepared properly. more

Alright, didn't live up to all I had heard 10/6/2006

After seeing this on Rachael Ray and hearing so much about how awesome it is. Me and my wife decided to give it a try. Upon arrival the first thing we noticed was an absolutely horrible parking arrangement but we could live with that. Upon entrance we waited for a good 30-40 minutes to be seated which is normal for restaraunts in the area. We got seated to eat and the first thing I noticed was the tremendous amount of noise. I don't know why but it was so loud in the restaraunt I could not even carry on a decent conversation with my wife. We ordered the famous cheese dip which tasted to me like tostitos con queso sauce heated up with some kernels of corn added. In other words not nearly as wonderful as the resteraunt makes it out to be. Pros: Large variety in menu, many different drinks to choose from Cons: Parking, noise more

Best Tortilla Soup this side of San Anto 1/11/2005

The soups here are definitely my favorites, I think I have tried them all, the Roasted Red Bell Pepper, Lobster Bisque and of course, my all time favorite, the Tortilla. It is actually even better than I had on my quest for the ""Best"" in Texas and Mexico. The seafood specials are always fresh and served with imaginative, falvorful sauces. What a fun lively atmosphere with something for everyone. I enjoy it often. Try it if you haven't. Great staff. Try the Tamales at Lunch on Wednesday/Catfish on Friday. Great Private Party Room in back with a New Orleans style patio. Sunday Brunch try the Eggs Benedict. Don't forget the cheese dip and crab cakes...to die for. Pros: Lively, Fresh Seafood, Great Staff more

Best Cheese Dip 11/15/2004

As reported in the newspapers, Loca Luna does have the best cheese dip on the planet. The Crab Cakes were killer too. It's lively and fun. Pros: Fun, Lively, Great Food more

Fun! 9/20/2002

Fun place to go and the food is great. Have never had a bad meal at Loca Luna! more
