Lazy Sundae 1/16/2006

Lazy Sundae is located in Arlington on Wilson Boulevard. The parking here is very difficult at times but if you take the metro to this location this should not be a problem The ice cream here is fine, nothing spectacular. The lines sometimes can get long because this is a very busy section of Arlington. I would only come here again if I was looking for a basic shake or scoop of ice cream. more

Local homemade ice cream joint is so-so 10/13/2005

The Lazy Sundae is located on the main drag in Clarendon. It’s a cute store, with a cute name, but I just was not that impressed with either the quality of the ice cream or the people who served the goods. I tried the oreo and mint chocolate chip ice creams. They were definitely homemade, but nothing special. The servers seemed rude and unhappy. I won’t be going back there if I can help it! ... though I've heard that their rice krispy ice cream is terrific. maybe for that. more

Not impressed with this ice cream 8/23/2005

I went with two friends and between us we tried a shake, a sundae and a scoop in a cone. Not a one of us would go back there in a hurry. It was popular the night we went, and we stood in line for way to long. There is not a wide selection of flavors, and for the price, I expected to be impressed with the dessert. Needless to say, I was not. Take your money elsewhere. more
