Being self employed, I unfortunately did not keep up on my taxes and found myself in hot water with the IRS and NC dept of revenue. Patti Clark was a lifesaver. She was professional and thorough, patiently taking me through the process of getting my taxes completed. Her extensive knowledge of tax laws was evident and in the end, helped me out tremendously. As mentioned in earlier reviews, she also assisted in making my next year's preparation easier. If you?re looking for an excellent CPA, look no further. more

Personable, Informed, Professional - Very Pleased 3/4/2012

I agree with all the other 5 star reviews. My wife and I recently relocated from New York and Patti Clark helped me navigate the confusing and troublesome waters of NY, NC, and Federal tax preparation. On top of that I'm an independent contractor, which usually made my previous preparers cringe. Patti not only accepted my status with ease, she assisted in making my next year's preparation easier. Her work was prompt, efficient, personable, and chalked full of expertise that only a true professional could acquire and stay on top of. Best of all, she explained it to a tax-phobic client with a wonderful teacher-like patience. The costs were fair and well worth it. As long as we stay in Charlotte, Patti & Larry Clark will be prepping our returns. Great accountants that make you feel comfortable from the first consultation. more

Last year for the first time I sought someone to do our personal taxes and after reading some positive reviews, decided to talk with Larry and Patti. Patti prepared our tax returns in a thorough and timely manner, and she was pleasant to work with. I felt the fees were fair and that we benefitted from Patti's expertise. As we move forward with other financial plans, I'm looking forward to consulting with Patti and continuing to have her prepare our tax returns. more

A great find 5/14/2009

Recently moved to the Charlotte area. Had to find an accountant quickly. Searched the internet to find someone that was well connected in the area and Mr. Clark was #1 on the google radar! He pulled through for us with flying colors on the first go around. I plan on using his services in the future and will happily recommend his services to all friends and business acquaintances. Regard, Paul Hueter Pros: Professional, timely, friendly, down to earth! Cons: none that I can think of more

A man you can trust 5/14/2009

It is very comforting knowing you have someone that is up on all of the tax laws. You get your info to him (sometimes much later than you should) and he still takes care of you. Anytime throughout the year he is there to answer questions for me or my clients. Trusting in him to protect you and to make sure you are making the right moves. Thanks Larry more

I found Larry/his services, online when doing a search for CPAs. He is the only one I found that gave me a free consult and he came to my house. He has helped me with everything from filing our taxes to helping with the difficult Sale and Use Tax Forms (confusing for a first time business owner) and picking up all the information he needed to do our taxes. I could not ask for a better CPA. So ask yourself, Who Eles Would You Use? The Clark Team is the one stop shop when it comes to CPAs. I was a bit nervous about trying a new CPA, but after hearing all the great feedback about Larry I decided to make the switch. Let me just say that I am SO glad I did!! Larry is incredibly thorough, professional, flexible and detailed. He was extremely accommodating to my busy schedule and returned any phone calls and emails very quickly. On top of that, I received more money this year than EVER before on my tax return. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Pros: Excellent Service, Very Detailed, Very Professional Cons: nope more
