I have had two colonics at La Paz Spa. It was a little scary putting a plastic tube in your butt (I am a hetero man so nothing usually goes in, just out), but it was tiny and I didn't really notice it once it was in there. Then, I basically got to take 20 or 30 amazing poops in a row. I felt great afterward. I wish I would have done 3 in a short period of time to really clean myself out. Nice and warm place in a plaza. Staff are very nice, friendly and informative. Strange at first, but coming back for more is welcomed no matter how often colonic is needed. This is an easy and less expensive way to live out life. Avoid high health care costs and build your body for you. A restart on your body more healthy each time. The entire experience was one of enlightenment. Debbie is energetic and the atmospere, although squeky clean, is fun and light. The open system made it ""my"" experience.I even made up songs as i watchedwith sheer amazement at the volume of @#^$ that cameout of my sytem. I left feeling clear, light, and full of life. I went in with so much abdominal pain and digestive problems. I had always been some what petite but when I got married I started eating less organic food, and my husband is a health nut, but i wasnt feeling good inside, so i did the colonic and lost 5lbs like nothing. Do it twice and you'll lose the sugar craving, and feel good inside out. You have to maintain your diet, but this gives you a head start to a brand new you. Getting a colonic changed my life for the better. I feel so much better internally, it's amazing! My brother has been doing colonics for several years and we would alway joke about it. He is a nurse and we would also talk about the benefits of colonics. At Christmas, he gave me 6 colonics at La Paz as a gift. \r The ladies there put me at ease the minute I walked in the door for my first appointment. They answered all my questions and gave me complete instruction. Their rooms are very nice and comfortable. I have been very pleased with my results after 5 sessions. My clothes fit so much better. Friends and colleagues comment on my looking slimmer. I have more energy and am motivated to do more walking and exercising. The experience has been very beneficial and I plan to keep going back on a regular basis. I am also interested in trying some of their other services as well. I like this place. I went once for amassage,and for being in an upstairs unit in a strip mall, the masseuse was AWESOME. NO, it's no luxuious spa, but you're getting far better service than you're paying for.\r \r Second time in was for a colonic, my first. I wanted to have a massage first to loosen up, but no time and no $$ in the budget at the time. So instead, Lovely Ms Donna hooked me up with their massage table which is right in the lobby. A few minutes on that and I felt MUCH better.\r \r The colonic was great. The staff there is just like you're old friends. It's like you've known them forever. Very approachable, very comfortable, but at the same time, very courteous and VERY professional (strictly legit, guys-look elsewhere for your kicks). The table's all set up, and the controlls explained, and it's really a non issue. I was a little uncomfortable ""releasing"" with Donna in the room at first, but after a while, no problem.\r \r Afterward, I can't really describe the feeling. La Paz was recommended to me by a few friends that were familiar with the whole colonics procedure. I have to admit that I was a little nervous going into it for the first time, but Debbie put me at ease quickly. The spa itself is very clean, comfortable and modern, and everything was explained to me in detail. You can have someone stay in there with you or not, it's your choice. It's not painful or even uncomfortable, just different. I felt great afterwards and am looking forward to doing it again! I originally heard of Colonics/Colon Hydrotherapy when celebrities started receiving them. I searched on the internet the benefits of this procedure to the body. The fact that it flushes out hard impacted fecal matter and toxins from the intestines had me convinced I should give it a try. By cleansing the colon my kidneys and liver do not have to work as hard to eliminate waste properly. I scheduled my 1st session and was kinda nervous but Debbie (the owner) with her humor and great personality made it very easy. She answered all my questions and thoroughly explained the operation of the LIBBE system. I left feeling like I had just done myself a huge favor internally. I have gone to several spas to receive numerous colonics. I only recommend La Paz spa to my friends-especially ""first timers"" because it is truly a great, experienced and welcoming place. I live 54 miles from the La Paz Spa (was encouraged by a friend to go there) and was thinking twice to even drive that far on a Saturday morning, especially because I'd never had a colonic before and didn't know what to expect. I must say it was well worth the drive and would drive even further for a colonic at La Paz Spa. It was a great experience and loved every minute of it, except it being over. The owner did a wonderful job of making me comfortable and the atmosphere was very relaxing. All I had to do was trust that this would start me running on my ""new year, new me"" mindset and it did. I got rid of so much ""evil"", I had no idea I even had in me. This got me started on a new ""lifestyle"" change to include eating better, exercising and ofcourse anticipating my next colonic.
