Just wondering how you continue to have busy lunches when Your daytime servers hurry up, pretty much throw our food on the table, in order to go sit down and eat their food. They don't seem to find the time to come back and check on us or ask if We are ok. We do know however that when the second shift comes in, they turn their tickets over to them and ""High tail it out of there"". We don't see our original server after!! Greatest chile in Denver!!!! My friends and I eat here for the first time by recommendation, and I'm extremely glad we did so. First thing we noticed is that this was a friendly atmsphore, and that we were greeted with big smiles, and very friendly people!! As soon as we sat down we were greeted by a young lady who promptly took our drink orders and ask if we would like chips and salsa to start. After getting our drinks a very polite young lady with a big smile greeted us to take our order. She was very helpful in suggesting her favorites. Both the busser and waitress were very attentive to detail and polite. upon recieving our food again with hugh smiles we were impressed with the presentation, and the promptness. the food is to die for!!!! the food has to be fresh daily to be so good! our drinks never got empty and we never had to ask for everthing as to our wait staff were on top of things! the food was so good, like nothing i've had in years! I wish I,d known of these place many years ago. I have found my new restaurant that i will be eating there for many years to come. Oh WOW! this place blew us away! Service was top notch, (the Manager, Gilly came to check on us and everyone else more than once) Selection/Menu was top notch tons to choose from, Freshness/Quality unbeatable the best EVER!!!! We took our friends that night and they had wanted to go to their favorite Mexican place. Even they agreed by the end of the meal, it was HANDS DOWN, the best mexican food any of us have ever had. It was very, very busy that night, and we now understand why. PS even the bathroom was spotless more

Friday the 13th was my luckiest day ever! Coming from a ski trip in Aspen, we had a few hours before my flight at DIA. Only 2 Restaurants were listed in Commerce City. We went to the one with all the cars! We fell in love with La Casa Del Rey. We were treated like KINGS. Pros: BEST Mexican food I have ever had! Went there for lunch to celebrate a collegue's birthday and we had the best experience. The drinks were fantastic, the food was amazing, and the service was great!! Our waiter was great at answering all our questions and accomodating my vegetarian co-worker's requests. He also brought out an amazing fried ice cream dessert for our table after noticing that we were giving our collegue a gift - we didn't even need to ask! Then the manager came over and the entire waitstaff sang Happy Birthday and gave my co-worker his meal free for his birhday. Thank you La Casa Del Rey , you really exceeded our expectations! I have had my fair share of Mexican food in my life. I like to give places the benefit of a doubt, but i was very disappointed to see that his restaurant was in the top 10 list, i would put it close to the bottom of my list. The Salsa had to much oregano, which some might like so it was okay. The guacamole was completely pathetic and lacked flavor and color. The fajitas i shared with a friend were some of the worst i have ever had, it was all vegetables and the flavors were sub par. The service was good and everyone was very friendly, but i can't recommend this place to anyone, especially because I still regretted the food the next day as well. more

I took my wife in last Friday night and we Had Pam as our waitress, now we have only been there a few times because we just moved here, but she was excellent. Between Her and the busser we never waited for anything. I ventured out and tried the hot chile, which was fabulous but I needed about three refills to coat my throat, but the busser was fast and alert. My husband and I have been going to La Casa for along time now. The food is always great and hot. There green chili is to DIE for. We always have excepitonal service but lately we been treated like a King and Queen. There is a girl their that just stands out. She is so well mannered and polite no matter what job she's doing. We've been there on weekends that she host's and last night we had her as our busser. She always has a smile on her face, and easy to talk too. We asked her last night if she is gonna wait tables and she said yes. We can't wait. I'm sorry we did'nt catch her name but young lady keep up the good work, and thanks for everything you do. This was the first time I ate at this restaraunt. I thought the burrito was excellent, I really enjoyed the chips and salsa too! I would definately go back for the service though; it was awesome I think her name was Amanda and she treated us like VIP. more

This is the best Mexican food place in the north side of town! I have been coming to La Casa for over 25 years and will continue until I'm gone or there gone! They have provided me with personal service and I never wait longer then 10 minutes for my food. My food always taste it's best and what I ordered every time. The staff is friendly and always shows respect even when the difficalt customers come in, and boy I have seen some of them! Great place to eat and a must as well.. La Casa Del Rey has the friendliest, most comfortable atmosphere, and cleanist restaurant I have ever eaten at. This is where business gets done. Go in on any given week day for lunch and you can see lots of local business men and community leaders. Thats because the FOOD IS AWESOME and the service is great. The ownership is always trying to reach out to the patrons to make sure their experience is better than expected. We can eat anything on the menu and know we are going to get great flavor and quality. The staff at La Casa Del Rey always makes you feel welcome, and now we feel they are a part of our family. The food and the staff at La Casa Del Rey are the best. Every time I get off the plane from New York, I head straight there. What does an east coaster know about good Mexican food? Some may say not much. However, I have been all over the world, including Mexico and various renditions in Texas, California, Arizona, and New Mexico. La Casa Del Ray can certainly hold its own with the best. The smothered-burritos are absolutely wonderful. The shredded-beef tacos are crisp and chocked full of beef, cheese, and tomatoes. The chile rellenos are to die for. Well worth the trip to Commerce City (even from New York). more

I am suprised to see some of these reviews! I have been going to La Casa for years now & my family & I have always had a great time. THere have been less times than I can count on my hand that we had to wait for food, but those nights were always busy weekend nights. THere Will be a wait for to-gos or to dine in at ANY restaurant. And as for the staff, I remember the gals that used to be there too, and yes they will be missed, but the new people are just as friendly as ever. We have our regular waitress's that we love having, I wont name them out loud, but everyone no matter who we get is friendly. And the food is excellent & it is at a price where I can still take my family out and enjoy that yum yum mexican food. Pros: The food, the staff, the management!! Can't say enough about the server's and the delicious food served at La Casa Del Rey in CC. I must say this is La Casa at its best!! Whatever your doing? It's working. I recently went in to la casa, it was recommended by a friend they said that i need to try there chili it was to die for.My first experience was very good. The waitstaff was very attentive they made me feel like i was at home. When i was looking through the menu i couldnt help but see that the menu had a wide range of food. When i had received my food i was suprised cause it came out really fast. The first bite i took was wonderful right then and there i knew that this was my new hotspot.
