Quality Food! 4/4/2012

I finally found a restaurant that serves great quality meats, vegetables, and brown rice. You might find a cheaper Thai place but not at this quality. This is the only Thai restaurant that my husband and I will eat at. Portion size is perfect for those who are watching their calorie intake and waist line! We have never left feeling like we didn't have enough to eat. The staff are courteous and polite but leave you alone to enjoy your food and company. Wonderful spring rolls and hot tea! Love the big lunch selection. more

Rip off! 11/12/2011

I have dined in and taken out here several times, and have always been disappointed with the portions. The food is good, but prices are relatively high, and the dishes are roughly half the size of every other Thai restaurant I've been to. Recently I went for lunch on a Saturday and ordered the panang. I did not realize they do not serve from the lunch menu on weekends.. So it did not come with soup, and was full priced at $14 + tax. Despite the high ""dinner"" price, the portions were around the size I expect for lunch specials at other restaurants. I left hungry and $15 poorer. As I told the server, I will not be back again. more

Great food! Service needs improvement. 9/7/2011

I've been here several times for lunch, dinner, and take out. The food is consistently very good! The service is inconsistent, and could use improvement. I normally expect the service to be slow, so I never go here when I'm in a hurry. Take out service is not too bad though. Prices are reasonable. I will admit that this restaurant played a key role in helping me change my diet from carnivore to vegan. I normally recommend it to my friends when we want to eat out, because there is something for everyone, and many more vegan options than the average restaurant. My favorite is the Panang Curry with tofu. The organic brown rice is delicious! \r The level of service hasn't irritated me too much because I know what to expect here. I'll keep going back, although I hope the service improves. I feel like the host seats you, serves you, goes in the back to cook up your pad thai, and rings you up. Oh, and he's also the bartender. :) more

Good food but BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE 3/12/2011

I have been a regular customer and enjoyed their quality of food but will NOT be giving them anymore business. They lack sincere customer service and clearly do NOT value their regular customers. They have screwed up my order on multiple occasions yet make me feel like they were my fault every time. I GIVE UP. I refuse to conduct business with an entity that values money over THE CUSTOMER. So I will not be giving them anymore of my money. I DO NOT RECOMMEND L'Thai and will never eat there again. more

Extraordinary Thai Food! 9/15/2010

Being new to the area, finding my way around for some good food was quite a challenge, until a neighbor told me about L'Thai in West Village. This place is amazing; the decor; the ambience; the service; and best of all, the food. Fried lobster with curry sauce was probably one of the best dishes I've ever had. The perfect marriage of the delicacy of lobster and the complexity of spices and herbs in the curry. My friend who loves Thai food ordered Pad Thai shrimp and thought it was the best Pad Thai in Atlanta. I've finally found my favorite. Their menu is extensive enough that I can order something different once a week for the entire year or longer (and that includes wine and beer list too). Last but not least, they use organic ingredients and their price is very affordable. This makes L'Thai the best restaurant in town. more

L'Thai - great first impression 8/18/2010

I am by no means an expert on Thai food, but I like a little variety from time to time. That said, I stopped in one afternoon for a mid-week late lunch when the restaurant was not too busy. I asked for a recommendation since I wasn't sure what i would like and my server suggested something he thought I would enjoy. I give them very high marks for flavor, and freshness, and very high marks for service. And the fact that the food is organic was also nice since I'm trying to be more health conscious. I thought the prices were quite reasonable for lunch, but judge for yourself. I will definitely be recommending this to my friends who enjoy Thai food. more

the BEST Thai food in Atlanta - bar none 8/2/2010

OK. It's a little bit far out (at least for me), but this place friggin rocks! I usually don't even like Thai food, and yet my best pal loves it, so he is always dragging me out to these joints. Now I have had some that I actually do like. BUT NONE compare to this place! All the food is organic (and no, I am not a vegan, vegetarian, new ager etc), and tastes better than whatever you think Thai food should taste like. I promise. Check it. Pros: good food, good service, good prices Cons: location more

Best Thai in Georgia 2/5/2010

I vist this restaurant about once a week. The food is so fresh and well prepared. The restaurant and bathrooms are very clean and the lighting, the music and the sound of the fountain create the perfect ambience. The staff is so polite and attentive and the location within West Village is perfect. I can't wait till the summer comes so I can sit on the patio. This place is so realxing and comforting, I don't want to leave. Pros: Excellent food, great atmosphere, friendly staff more

Awesome Thai food 1/29/2010

The Best Thai ever had in Atlanta . The Penang curry was awesome and the THAI ICED TEA just perfect. Be careful of the spice it it authentic Thai spice so please do not compare the spice that you get in other Thai restaurant with this one . Pros: Awesome Food & Beautiful Ambience more

Best Thai I've had in Georgia 1/28/2010

The food is amazing. I love Thai food, and this is by far my favorite. I say it's the best Thai I've had in Georgia, but it may be the best Thai I've had EVER. Not only are the ingredients and sauces quality and delicious, the method of preparation is excellent. The meat is never overcooked (as it sometimes can be when in a curry sauce), just perfect perfect perfect. The owner is attentive and friendly, and provides excellent suggestions. I've been there twice with friends and am excited to be going tonight with my family for a birthday. I am sure I will be just as pleased with tonight's dinner as I have been with past visits. Pros: Delicious food, wonderful service, organic food and beer more

Best Thai Vegan/Vegetarian Food In Atlanta 12/13/2009

I love this place!!! \r all the food is so fresh and tasty. it's not overcooked, very clean tasting and not greasy. everything here are made just right.\r i really like the papaya salad, cocnut soup, and this one entree made with tofu, bell peppers and basil.\r i like how with all the dishes you get a choice of putting in tofu, or organic veggie. \r i took my friend here from midtown, which is 15 minutes away, and he was raving about this one thai restaurant near his house, after he tried the food here he had to admtted l' thai was way better. \r check it out, you will love it, even if you are not vegan. Pros: Great food, great service, great menus more

Highly Disappointed! 11/15/2009

I heard about this restaurant and wanted to go try it on my birthday since they got voted best on citysearch. The service was average. We ordered larb gai, pad thai, and soft shell crab...it was all salty. I think i had to drink like a gallon of water when I got home. My crab was very dry and they didn't even give enough panang curry sauce to even coat the crab. The modern decor is nice. Bathrooms were out of toilet paper. Worst of all, although it was nobody's fault and these things do happen, I found a piece of metal pot scrubber in my food. Highly overpriced, there are so many other Thai restaurants around with much better food and reasonable prices. more

This is a MUST TRY for Thai 10/26/2009

My husband and I have eaten here twice now and the food is so wonderful that we focus on eating and clean our plates every time. Being organic is a plus and having sulfite free wines is rare to say the least, but the quality of food here is what will keep us coming back every week. . .for a very long time! Pros: Freshness you can taste more

My New Fav 10/17/2009

L'thai is now my favorite Thai restaurant. The place is very nice inside and the ambience is great, it has a very cool vibe. The staff is pretty attentive and the food is delicious. Oh the drinks! the waitress recommended one of their signature drinks call Pink Dragon, and it's wonderful. They also have extensive beer and wine list, include the organic ones. The spring rolls are out of this world. The green papaya salad is the best, hands down. For entrees, the sea bass and the basil duck are scrumptious, and for the curries, I really like their jungle curry. I've never seen this type of curry in any Thai restaurant I've been to. It's not heavy because it doesnt' have any coconut milk but the taste is awesome. Get it spicy and you'll be on fire! I truly enjoyed this restaurant, and would highly recomend it to anyone. Pros: The vibe, the food, the drinks and the service more

Amazing Thai Food 9/25/2009

Just came across this place today after work when I drove around the new development in West Village off Atlanta Rd and I-285, so I decided to grab some Pad Thai to go. When went inside, I was very impressed with the romantic decor and the relaxing ambience. I thought to myself, if the food is any good, I'll be back to dine-in with my husband. Got home, took the first bite of the Pad Thai and I was amazed at how delicious it was. I let my husband tasted it and he couldn't stop eating. We ended up got in the car and went back to this place. Tonight, we had the best dinner at L'Thai. The food menu was extensive, and so was the wine and beer selections. The basil rolls, the fried oyster, the massaman curry, and the crispy duck were sooo good. This place will definitely be our fav for Thai. Pros: Great organic Thai food at very reasonable price Cons: None whatsoever more

Great lunch specials 9/18/2009

This place has not only the best thai food but the lunch specials are awesome. Great place and highly recommend. Pros: cheap lunch but awesome food more
