Tim is the gentleman at the front desk that I have had the pleasure of interacting with for 3 repairs to 2 cars in the last few months. I previously brought in problems that were clear-cut - AC compressor, and diesel fuel injectors. This latest time I brought in my troubled Ford PSD 6.0 Excursion after it died on the road - it probably was low on fuel and thought we added 5 gallons we could not get it to start after minutes of cranking. Later the same night the tow truck driver got it to start on the first crank. Tim and his crew could find nothing wrong after they charged the depleted batteries. I even asked if a fuel tank flush was warranted among other things. I feel I left the door wide open for a blank check this time, but Tim was a consumate professional. more

Honesty is no longer policy? 5/28/2010

I've taken my cars in to this shop a few times in the past, I got really good, honest service with the best prices. I came in this week and there is a new manager, or at least someone I've never dealt with at this shop, and I was treated like I was a dumb, poor, young woman. In fact, all he kept commenting on was how young I am and how sure he was that I didn't have money to spend on the car. Long story short, I brought my car in for the same problem 2 different times and was given 2 different diagnosis and he kept telling me he couldn't remember what they had told me the first time but that THIS time, 3 days later, there were problems with the car that he previously told me the car did NOT have. Obviously, I just said stop what you're doing and let me have my car, I'll take it some where else. Hopefully I don't drive off the lot with a car that's in worse shape than when I brought it in :( Pros: Used to be good Cons: Not so good anymore more
