This place is the best Pilates place in Southern OC! And I've done a lot of research to prove it. First, it start with the instructor. Carol has a bachelor of sciense in Kinesiology from Univ of Michigan, a Master of Physical Therapy and a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Northwestern University. On top of that she is a certified Pilates instructor. And she will prove you that she well deserves her degrees. What I mean by that is that she is extremely knowledgeable, effective and qualified in teaching Pilates. She knows the body structure and each muscle by heart. She knows exactly what to correct in the way you are performing an exercise or in the way you are using a muscle so you don't hurt yourself and get the most benefit from a particular exercise within the limits of your own body. Like Debbie here, I would go to her class with a neck or back pain and come out perfectly functional after only one hour. I think having someone who knows very well the way the skeletal and muscular system works is very important in Pilates because this type of exercises can hurt you bad if it's not done properly. Besides, Carol doesn't improvise during her lessons. She is following a certain routine that is aimed to equally work all sections of your body.
