best place for color/highlights! 4/24/2005

I went to Kenworthy Salon after doing a citysearch.com look-up for a good place to get some highlights. I was quite nervous about getting highlights since my hair hasn't been colored in years and is extremely healthy. I requested Ashely after all her positive reviews on citysearch and my highlights came out GREAT! My hair cut was okay...nothing spectacular but still good/decent nonetheless. But if what you're looking for is a great place to highlight or color your hair, I highly recommend Kenworthy Salon. Ask for Ashley! I guarantee you'll LOVE it! Pros: great customer servic, no sales pressure, friendly Cons: none! more

No Attitude, Great Value! 3/6/2005

I recently moved from the Midwest to LA, and I really feared that I'd have to pay an arm and a leg for highlights and haircut out here, especially at a Beverly Hills salon. Not so with Erin at Kenworthy Salon! My hair is the best it's ever looked thanks to Erin's AMAZING gift for both blonde highlighting and men's haircutting, and the price was quite reasonable. She's awesome! Deane Kenworthy, the owner, made sure he welcomed me personally to his salon, and Bill, the salon manager was also very helpful and friendly. Luis Is Amazing! 3/6/2005

Luis at Kenworthy Salon is a GOD! He's done the most amazing updo work on me! I have to attend many black-tie events in my line of work, and Luis always makes me look and feel like a million dollars! Whether it's a traditional French Twist or an ""edgier"" look that I'm after, I know that I'm in good hands with Luis's hands on my hair! We've already done a dry-run on my hair for my wedding this spring. I am soooo excited with what Luis is going to do for me. And when my mother saw a pic that I sent her, she called me and said that it was the most beautiful she's ever seen my hair look! Now THAT'S the best compliment I can think of! more

Beautified in BH 3/3/2005

This hair salon amidst the Beverly Hills bustle offers the ease and comfort levels of that can only be found in a simply peaceful and cozy environment. While Deane Kenworthy is himself a creative genius when it comes to cut and color, stylist Ashley is also an incredible colorist, as I have experienced first-hand. Hannah offers a heavenly mani/pedi that is always transporting to another place upon completion. Amazing things happen here! more

Regarding hair ... Deane Kenworthy has by far the most incredible eye for both color and shape. He transformed my sleepy blonde to a higher level of consciousness, effortlessly, with simply beautiful, natural results (and no other colorist has been able to achieve this). i walked into this beverly hills salon thinking im going to be ripped off and get a bunch of snobby attitudes. i was wrong! everyone in there is nice and professional. the haircut i got from ashley was amazing...she is great and is definitely someone to ask for...trust me guys, this place is awesome! more

i went into the ken worthy salon and got my hair and color done by a great girl named ashley...she was so amazing. she immediatly put me at ease by talking to me as if i was a friend and not just another client...this girl can definitely do color! i recommend every girl to check out ken worthy salon and definitely ashley! its well worth it! more

Best Kept Secret--Deane Kenworthy!! 2/24/2005

ONE WORD FOR DEANE KENWORTHY--AMAZING. Oh my g-d. Deane has been theeee only stylist in the United States who could take my dark brown hair and turn me into a blonde movie star. Not only are Deane's color and highlighting methods superior but his cutting and shaping skills are incredible. My hair has never looked and felt better. Everywhere I go, people stop me and inquire as to who colors and styles my hair. Thank you, Thank you. more

Amazing color and service 2/21/2005

I have been highlighting my hair for over 10 years in all parts of the country and Erin at Kenworthy is by far the absolute best colorist I have met. She listens to what you want yet adds her thoughts as a professional should. The salon is very swanky looking without the attitude and everyone I met there was attentive and courteous. Erin's knowlege and skill of her craft combined with her efficient and thourough work lead me to believe that my salon journey across the country has ended at Kenworthy Salon. I've lived in LA for 8 years and I finally found a Salon and stylist I'm happy with. I had my hair cut by this terrific girl named Erin, and strangers have been coming up to me in the gym to give me compliments on my hair! The Salon has great style, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Kenworthy is definitely the best Salon I've been to. more

Amazing service 2/21/2005

Deane took me from my natural blonde color to a deep red, and everyone who has met me since then swears that the red is my natural color. My layers blend perfectly when he cuts them. Kenworthy Salon has a very cheerful, welcoming atmosphere and provides very attentive, individualized service. more

i just had my hair done by the most outstanding person Erin.. she cut and colered my hair better than anyone else has and my hair has never looked better she was so nice and helpfull such a nice experence at the kenworthy i cant imagin going to anyone else she was amazing. the staff was so nice from the time i walked in to the time i walked out did not feel like your typical Beverly Hills salon.. very friendly more

Kenworthy Salon offers a great variety of services and products. They are available to do on-site wedding day services and other special events. This is a real plus. I have had the pleasure of hosting bridal events in their salon and in turn they have had the pleasure of engaging regular clients from these events and recommendations as a result of their continued excellent service and expertise. I have never had such a great experience in a salon before. Not only is everyone friendly but the service itself is something that I cannot wait to come back for. The quality of my cut and color was perfect, not a single detail left out. My hair looks better then it ever has before and all thanks to this wonderful salon. This is the Hair Hospital! 2/17/2005

When I first came to Dean my hair had been overprocessed by a very up-scale salon that will remain nameless. For the past 12 years Dean has been doing my hair and it is fabulous. His color sense and highlights are just beautiful and he recommends new styles that I would never think of. The the salon is fun and lively; the staff is friendly, and everybody is so hospitable. I just moved here from NYC and my best friend told me about her haircolorist (Deane) who owns a salon in Beverly Hills, so I thought I would try there first. Well I'm done looking Deane and his staff treated me like a movie star. He took my drab blonde hair and gave me the most believable California Blonde.
