Janelle Varada has been creating my fabulous blonde locks for the past 5 years and I wouldn't consider going to anyone else! She always knows EXACTLY what I want and how to make me even more gorgeous! I was born with blonde hair and she creates highlights that mimic the natural blondness of my teenage years! Janelle also makes my wavy, frizzy mess into the softest, most silky, shiny, golden strands with her special Brazilian process and customized hair conditioning treatment - even on my blonde highlights! It's amazing how quickly and efficiently she works. The process really cuts down styling time, my hair dries in 1/2 the time, and of course it looks AMAZING for about 8 weeks! By far, it's worth every pretty penny, because she makes me look so pretty! Janelle at Juan Juan has been doing my color forever & recently I was out of town for an extended period of time. I couldn't bring myself to let anyone except Janelle touch my color so I wore lots of hats until I got back to LA. I have been seeig Damo for 9 years. I have followed Damo to 4 different salons. He is so amazing that when people offer me free haircuts in exchange for hair modeling, I refuse. He is a lot of fun, you can tell him something vague like "I am working a lot so I don;t want to have high maintenence hair" and he will goive you exactly what you wanted. I aways get stopped on the street with compliments on my haircut. Also, he is so hgood that I only need a haircut every 5-6 months. His cuts grow out extremly well. more

My sister and I have been going to Juan Juan Salon in Beverly Hills and have had our haircuts and style by Yuriy for 7 years. We go every 6 weeks and there has NEVER been a time when we have had a bad haircut or style!!! He takes his time and keeps us up to date. If there is a style that I want, I take him a picture and he gives me advice as to how that style will suite my look and my facial shape. The end result with the cut and style that he gives me looks even better than the picture I had brought in. The rest of the staff are extremely nice and considerate. Starting from the front desk to the shampoo stations. Once again, I TOTALLY RECOMEND YURIY as your stylist. Pros: Always get more than what you ask for!! I went into Juan Juan for the first time 6 months ago with the brassiest orange you could ever imagine. I paid a fortune for the ugly hair I walked in with and thought I was never going to be a pretty blonde. I had a consultation with the owner and he sent me to Elie for a correction. She told me that she thought it would take 3-4 times to make the color look perfect, but it would look better right away. I was there for 3 hours but MY HAIR WAS AMAZING!!!!! IT WAS EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED!!! I love my hair now and get compliments all the time..........I have sent all my friends to her and they have all thanked me for it............now all I need is a good haircut, so I'm going to go back for a consultation for that too................THANK YOU! I've been going to Leslie for at least 5 years or so. She is not only a great colorist and stylist, but a lot of fun to talk to as well. She is detail oriented, which is GREAT when it comes to your hair. I love her little room upstairs and Juan Juan in Beverly Hills is a great and easy location. I like that she's great at "Asian" hair but is versatile and can handle anyone! more

My expierence at Juan Juan has been amazing. I have been a client there for about 3 years now. I can always count on a great cut and my color is always fabulous. I have seen so many articles about Sean and Jennifer J. for so many years that I finally decided to give them a try. My husband who always thought I spend way too much on my hair, is now pushing me to go and get my hair done every month. Although they are the owners but they are so good and they're the nicest people that you'll ever meet. Jennifer did an amazing job on my highlights and Sean gave me a beautiful haircut. I took my girl friend with me last time and one of thier colorists Elie changed her color so nicely and Sean cut her hair after that her boyfriend did not even recognized her. NO Beverly Hills attitude here-- I was shocked. I was actually nervous to go due to the location, but wanted to treat myself to a great new style. Yuri was my stylist and he is AWESOME. It is like watching an artist while he cut my hair and gave me an unbelievable blow-out. He's totally down-to-earth and literally played with my hair for 5 minutes or so to get a feel for it before recommending what he thought we should do (no pressure). I loved his ideas and recommendations and now have a REALLY cute haircut that is also pretty easy to style. He also recommended I get a little color with Tanya, who ROCKED. I wanted natural-looking color and she delivered by getting rid of my brassiness and giving me a beautiful buttery blonde that looks very natural. You have to go to Juan Juan. The prices are not too bad for Beverly Hills, either. I thought I was in for it when I went up to pay and was pleasantly surprised. I will be back again! more

If you're looking for a colorist, Janelle Varada at Juan Juan in Beverly Hills is the best! I've moved away and tried other colorists and have never found anyone better than Janelle. If you go a couple doors down the street to Juan Juan Center you will find Leslie Kawamura. She has a private room upstairs in the back and she is amazing! I tell everyone I meet that if she ever leaves the state I will travel to wherever she is every ten weeks for my haircut. I don't know what she knows that other stylists don't, but she consistently gives the best haircuts I have ever seen. I have such problem hair and she is the ONLY person who has ever given me a style that I love. She is the best!!!! My friend Kristine loves her too. Reading the reviews it is obvious that we are passionate about our stylists. I followed Janelle from Vidal's to Juan Juan because her color and technique is precise and consistent. I needed a blow out and in a jiffy for a last minute friday night date, I was at SAKS getting my make up done and the staf there recommended Todd at Juan Juan, because he was the "BEST!" (the ppl at SAKS always look better than the customers!) Anyway he squeezed me in, listened to ALL my requests, did a beautiful job on my biracial Uber curly hair, and then curled it. The price was reasonable, and I ve been to every salon in LA (Todd is the best!!!), plus he s very intelligent and talks just the right amt! LOOOOOVE IT.
