JTCC offers a warm, inviting, safe atmosphere to learn many different things, whether as a recent high school graduate or an adult continuing your education. They also periodically offer classes for the community, like bellydancing or gardening. While they had to scale back on programs like electrical engineering, they still offer a wealth of different trades such as nursing, welding, and funeral services. In fact, it is the only college in VA that offers funeral services.
