This morning on the CBS overnight news program, they featured Johanson High School in Modesto, CA.\r
I was very impressed that they offer their students a world religions course. The motto is "" teach it, don't preach it"". It is an informational class about all the different religions that exist in our world and their beliefs and customs. I feel this class not only teaches religions, but tolereance as well. Most of our soldiers throughout history, as well as now in the middle east, could use a course such as this. They offend and have offended due to ignorance. I think it should be a required class for all servicemen during bootcamp.\r
Three cheers to Johanson High School for teaching diversity and understanding to our youth. Maybe more schools across the nation will catch on! Teresa Nehl, Morristown,SD.
