I have been a customer of Joe's Power Center for many years. I just had my unit serviced by them for the season and I was explained when I dropped it off that they were out 5-7 working days. On the 6th working day I received a call from them and was told that my unit was completed and ready to be picked up! This is great service, from start to finish. I tell everyone I know to go to Joe's. more

I brought my riding mower into joes. It needed a tune up, i was pleased to receive a phone call from them informing me that there was a problem with my steering and would cause problems in the future, as i thanked them for the call i had informed them that i will not have them fix the problem at this time. The tune up and service i have received from joes was excellent. My mower has never ran better an it was all at a price within my budget. Joes will be receiving more of my business in the future. more

I brought my riding lawn mower in over two weeks ago. I was told it would be done on the 23rd I just need a drive belt put on. I called today to see if it was ready they said it was second in line and they would call me mechanic would be working on it today. If the repair was going to be over $100 they are suppose to call. Lets see how this goes? Based on the other reviews I am a little afraid at the moment. I am a single mom who can't really afford an expensive repair bill. more

Brought my snowblower in for a repair. Was told parts were not available to fix it. After reading some of the other reviews here, I have to wonder if they were even being honest with me about the repairs. I told them I had family then who would like it for parts. They told me I could keep it there until spring...there was no rush. I went down there today to get it and was told it was junked 5 days after I was told they would hold it for me. I would like to know how a business can just throw away property that isn't theirs without even so much as a phone call. This business is not worth even one star in my opinion, but it wouldn't allow me to publish this without at least one. Shame, shame on them!! more

I had my snowblower picked up for there special $50 tune up. They said they would pick it up and drop it off within 7-14 days for $20. I agreed for the $20. I called them 14 days later to see what was going on. They hadn't even looked at my snowblower then called the next day to tell me they were going to do $250 worth of repairs?!?!?!? Replace the skid shoes (which were just replaced), replace the auger cable (I have since had a professional look at it and it's fine), and fix the carburetor (only thing that needed fixing). I told them that I could buy a new snow blower for less then $250 and to not do anything to it. I requested them to leave it outside for me to pick up and they refused stating they would not until I paid them $30 for doing nothing. I then said I would pay the $20 to deliver it that day as it was supposed to be delivered 2 days prior. They refused. I even offered to pay their extra $10 equalling $30 for them to deliver it. They said they were not going to give me back the snow blower and that they now had a new snow blower. BUYER BEWARE! They are a scam and just trying to get your money!!!! Even their specials are just to get your snow blower so they can hold it until they charge you to get it back without anything being done to it!!!!! more

Brought in riding mower for repair of starter gear. $6.00 part. Asked how long it would take to repair. 3-5 days. On the 5 day I called and asked if the mower was ready? Mechanic said yes we are just finishing give me an hour and then come and get the mower. (11am) I arrived at (4:45pm) said I'm here to PU my mower. Counter person said...who called you and said it was ready? Told them I called earlier but if it wasn't ready no problem I live close by and could come tomorrow..no hurry, I would rather have it done right. Guy went in back and yelled at a few guys then came back out and said it would be a few minutes. Paid my bill for $86.89 and loaded up the mower. Got the mwer home and noticed the hood was cocked and tried to lift it...wouldn't open, had to twist to one side to open. noticed all the bolts to the coweling and top of motor were screwed in half way finger tight. So I got my mower back half assed put together. Called Joe's and told person aswering the phine what happened..said he would have the owner call me.......so far no phone call. But I got to pay full price for half ass work! Pros: local biz Cons: poor service more
