Disappointed 12/17/2010

I called to inquire about cupcakes for a party. Commented that I wanted something better than the store bought offering. Commented that I HATE butter cream and all of the junk that can be loaded into it. . The rep I talk to assured me their butter cream was good, not greasy. I ordered 24 cupcakes. more

Well worth the splurge! 6/20/2010

This well-known, northwest suburban bakery is highly regarded and produces the best tasting, beautifully decorated quality cakes and superb butter cookies. Their coffeecakes are mouth watering. Our family wouldn't consider any other bakery. They have been in the business a long time and for good reason! If you are going to splurge on sweets, I say it has to be worth it and boy oh boy it sure is at Jarosch! more

Don't quote them 6/21/2007

While they're cakes are very good, be careful when pricing out the cakes if you call. They mis-quoted me on both cakes I priced out so when I ordered the appropriate days in advance I was paying 50% more. They would not work with me to figure out why or do any adjustment for the mistake. There was one specific thing I knew might cost more and I asked directly about it and got the misquote. more

A bit of heaven on a fork... 11/9/2006

A couple years ago I was at a wedding and the bride was so excited to have her cake made by Jarosch. When I finally took my first bite, it was amazing. Each piece was so thick with layers, each made from a different type of cake. It was like having a buffet of all the best cakes on one plate. Jarosch has become a favorite amongst our family and friends ever since. more

I travel an hour for their cakes 5/27/2006

My boss from my last job turned me onto this place. Their desserts are very tasty and fresh. I have still ordered my kids b-days cakes from here and actually traveled an hour just to get them. Even though my local bakery is ok, this place is much better. \r \r My boss used to pick up morning snacks for all of us that worked for her. She sure knew our weak spots. Cookies and pastries from the Jarosch Bakery was a sure thing to get all of us movtivated for a early morning meeting. \r \r A bakery you must visit. It won't disappoint you. more

Yummy! 11/18/2005

Jarosch is by far one of the best bakery in town. They've been in business for over 45 years and no wonder why they are still in business. What is the best is their cakes or cookies are never too sweet and they use fresh ingredients. My friend who got married used Jarosch for their wedding cake and it turned out beautiful. When I use to work in the area, I would stop by and pick up their daily cookies (yellow smiley faces) and they hit the spot with a cup of coffee. more

A great Bakery 5/6/2005

This bakery has the most delicious cakes! You can go here for any occasion - from a graduation to a wedding. They have cakes in all sizes and flavors. They do have some pre-prepared cakes but for large orders you have to go into the store in advance and make and order. Their goods are always fresh and taste great! more

Great tasting baked goods and cakes. My family has been ordering cakes from here for the past 10 years for different occasions such as birthdays or weddings. They offer sheet cakes in a variety of sizes depending on the size of your party and they can customize it depending on what you want to have written on it and how you want it to look. They also have cakes available that are ready to be purchased. more
