I have given this salon many chances (it's a big salon and there are many employees) and I have been dissatisfied each time. One hairstylist in particular rushed me in and out in under 20 minutes. I have really long hair and she washed it, cut it, and barely dried it. I walked out spending a lot of money for the fast shuffle and a wet head. I gave it another chance a year later (maybe she was just having a bad day) and got highlights. Same thing happened only this time she did the foils improperly and I walked out of the salon with a quarter inch of hair from my scalp with no highlights. It looked like I had gotten them months ago and my natural color already started growing back. Then I got a gift of a manicure and pedicure. I went with a friend who had the same services as I did. I was done 10 to 15 minutes before my friend. It seems my pedicurist went really fast and skipped steps so she could play on her Ipad. NEVER AGAIN!!! more

Was given the gift of the Princess Spa Package. First thing I noticed was lack of customer care. It took awhile for the receptionist to acknowledge me and when she did she acted almost bothered. The treatment I had was wonderful from CNY Lazer but the rest of it I could walk into a mall and get. It was nothing special. Save your money and go elsewhere. more

I went to this Salon about a month ago to get highlights and a cut. The stylist did a good job with the cut but the highlights were barely unnoticed. I asked the stylist why they did not show up and she said to wait about two weeks and that the sun would make them lighter. Two weeks later I was still dissatisfied and felt cheated of my $120.00. I have had highlights in the past and this is the first time I have gone through such an ordeal. I went bacj to the salon to ask for a redo. Politely, I explained my situation to the receptionist who immediately became very rude and said they could not do anything. I asked to see the stylist who did my hair in hopes she could remember her advice. The receptionist would not let me see her until I said I had all day and would wait until she had a moment. Finally, the stylist came and remembered me. She said she felt bad but that perhaps the highlights had “washed” away. I explained that the highlights were never quite visible and asked for a possible redo. The stylist said she would speak to the owner and would get back to me with a response. While exiting the salon the receptionist said they would not do anything because they have a 48 return policy which the stylist failed to mention when she said wait a few weeks for the highlights to come in. A week has passed and I have not heard from neither the stylist nor the owner. As a customer I am appalled by the way this salon has chosen to treat a client. While the building and website appear to be professional this salon is by far the worst I have ever encountered. My advices to anyone seeking their sevices make sure you are completely satisfied before leaving the salon.\r Pros: nice website and building Cons: unable to manage customer service more

I had an appointment at Innovations today for a new client haircut. It was my first time at the salon and it is absolutely beautiful. Tammy was my stylist and she did a wonderful job! I told her what I wanted and she made suggestions and then did a wonderful job of cutting in side bangs and long layers for my long hair. I was nervous about the side bangs but she put me at ease with her confidence! Everyone including the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back at Innovations! I had an appointment with Tammy last evening and she was absolutely wonderful. She listened to what I wanted and made suggestions to make the look even better. She spent 2.5 hours with me and gave me a look that was more than I expected. If you are a 30 something girl looking for an update go see Tammy she will take care of you. I decided to go here because it was recommended by some family members. First off, when I met my ""stylist,"" she hardly greeted me (no hello, how are you). I should've known from then that it was going to go downhill from there. When she looked at my hair, she looked at me with pure and utter disgust. She tried to second guess what I came in to do, even though I was trying to detail what I wanted done. Then she told me my hair was very frizzy and dry and proceeded to say, ""I am afraid to ask what products or shampoo you use."" During the entire haircut she had a disgusted expression on her face and kept sighing. She kept on giving me ""advice"" (which are common sense things which she was saying since she obviously thought my hair was hideous). After she cut my hair she told me, ""your hair looks so much better now,"" and then asked, ""are you wearing makeup? because you'd look much better if you did."" I have NEVER been more insulted in my life. I went in for a TRIM and was not expecting some rude, uneducated, uncouth, insecure witch to insult me. She is a hairstylist, and I expect her to cut my hair and be kind. I am not paying her to insult me. I was nearly in tears by the end because of how rude she was. I don't care if she hates my hair or thinks it's awful, it's not her job to tell me her opinion. I am NEVER going here again. Cons: Rude stylist more

HORRIBLE service. The so-called ""professional"" who had been doing hair ""longer than I have been alive"" made me feel terrible about my hair and myself. She did nothing but belittle me. She even had the nerve to tell me I probably had cancer. I mean, come on, how asinine does someone have to be. Talk about insecurity and jealousy. My hair is perfectly fine! I did not even go there for a dye job, I went there for a TRIM!!! She wanted to call my hair into a pixie cut (my hair is about 3 inches past my shoulders). All they do is chat, complain and talk about one another while providing services! I even wrote a letter to the management, who was kind enough to give me a personal call to follow up and granted me a refund. I don't care if you're having THE WORST DAY IN YOUR ENTIRE LIFE, if you are employed and providing a service you should NEVER EVER take it out on a paying customer. You should ask to leave early. I have gone to this salon many times and have changed stylists many times and I have given up. One stylist let me walk out with very visible dark hair dye stains all over my forehead. Another stylist constantly told me my hair was extremely damaged and tried to get me to buy very expensive products. (my hair is in excellent condition and I get compliments all the time) I went in to get highlights and the stylist left them on way too long because she was gossiping with another stylist. She ruined my hair - it was very damaged and fried - guess that was her way of getting me to buy the products! That was the last straw. I had to go to a different salon to get my long hair chopped off just so I could grow it out healthy again. On top of it all, everyone there is stuck up and rude. This place is great. I went in as a first time customer from a recommedation from a friend. My stylist use to come to my house but she always wanted to make me look the same. I needed to get out and experience some personal attention, Innovations is definitely the place to go for that. My stylist Jessica changed my overall drab hair color to a warm cinnamon and added some golden blonde hilights. I finally feel like I got the look I have been asking my other stylist for. Jessica took the time to address my needs and she nailed it! I was a customer of Innovations several years ago but my stylist left to do her own thing and I followed. My stylist started to work less hours and her creativity wasn't all there anymore so I decided to give Innovations another try. I had always had great service at a great price there. I booked an appointment as a new customer online at like 10pm one night. Not only was I able to learn about all of the services they had but I also was introduced to each employee in their online bio section. The booking was so easy and convenient, and I even got a confirmation of my appointment online two days before. When I arrived to my appointment I was pleasantly surprised about all of the remodeling they had done. The place had always been beautiful but now it is truly magnificent, as it says on their wall. The receptionist was friendly when she checked me in and promptly let my stylist know I was ready. It was so refreshing to sit down and have a consultation with my stylist, something I hadn't had done in a very long time. She asked about my lifestyle, how much time I like to devote to my hair and gave me suggestions n what she could do to give me a trendier look. I felt so pampered the whole time, from the minute I walked in, through my whole service and also checking out. My hair looks great, I have had a ton of compliments and will be referring a bunch of my friends and co-workers. Keep up the hard work Innovations, you got a good thing going. I dealt with an extremely rude hair professional there. After they fried my hair, (my hair actually broke off at the scalp after a treatment was left on too long) they had the nerve to tell me it wasn't so, and belittled me in front of other customers. It was by far the most humiliating and horrifying experience I've ever had, and I dished out $150! The manager would not refund my money, and I could not talk to the owner. \r \r AND I CRIED FOR WEEKS! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO MY WORST ENEMY. more

WOW! These guys are amazing. Nina does the most incredible bridal updos. She took my waist length hair and designed the most beautiful bridal style I have ever seen. My entire bridal party looked like they belonged in bridal magazines. They are offering Bare Essentuals make overs, my complexion never looked so clear. Nancy, my make up artist gave me the most beautiful natural look. Their bridal contract made booking simple and efficient. One less thing to worry about on my special day. The whole experience was seamlessly gratifying especially when we all went in the day prior to my wedding for the ultimate spa day. Massages, facials, manicures and pedicures. We were treated like princesses and had a great time relaxing and enjoying each others company over snacks. This place is a definate before any special event. My advice..go some where else for your weddings party. If you don't you'll be in tears! That I promise. The contract that you have to sign in order to come to the salon is the most unfriendly form you'll ever sign..It doesn't matter what your hair looks like after all the grief! They have set it up to suit themselves and that's it..and they don't really care if you like it not. And the salon opens late in the morning even for big parties...they MAY come in a few minutes early for you if you $$$.
