What a joke 11/29/2010

IOM wasted our time and they made us wait for hours. The dealership is offering a buyback program for this thanksgiving weekend. So we came in to see what they could do for us, we found a bigger car that fit us perfectly that they had in the lot and we wanted to trade in our vehicle. Up front before any negotiations we told Eugene to tell us right away if there will be a deal or not but Eugene said yes there will be so we then waited. the first deal was trade our car in per the buyback program and get the other car as if it was a new purchase. He then said there will be no money down and payments will be lower. Then Steve stepped in and 'tried' to work something out, but failed big time. He couldn't work out a deal for us and we ended up going home with nothing. Wasted 3 hours waiting for nothing. They shouldn't give people false promises and keeping our hopes up. what happened to ""where the customer is #1""? more

Worst Customer Service EVER!!! 3/15/2010

This is pertaining to the sales staff only I have not had any work performed here so my review is focused on sales and their customer service. In 2009 my 2007 G35 lease was due and I was returning the car back to the dealer, contract clearly indicated that ""ANY"" dealership can ground your car at their location. I followed all the procedures, had a third party vendor come out to inspect the car for wear n' tear and or damage, got the paperwork from him to turn it in. Went to the dealership to ground the car there and low and behold some how the Finance Manage Shawn Tahari got involved and said I could not ground my car there. I asked him why not his response he did not have room for my car. I live less than a minute away from this lot so I drive past it day in and day out. I can clearly see that their back lot is half full and that out in the main lot that had a least 5 spots open. So, I looked at him turned around and looked at the lot, and asked him again ""ARE YOU SURE?"" He looked at me as if I was the idiot that was blind and said ""YES."" I then proceeded to ask the receptionist politely for the number to Infiniti Corporate to file a compliant against Shawn Tahari for less than poor customer service, also to lied to me to my face, and to discriminate me possible due to my age and race. Low and behold a day later the Sales Manager called me very politely and instructed me to bring my car in, to have to returned at their lot after I had filed a complaint against Shawn. I find it funny how all of a sudden a day later they have space for my car... If I could give negative stars I would! I would never bring my car here for any reason. Buyers be warned of their sales staff customer service!!!! Cons: Less than poor customer service, rude, and discriminatory more

I took it to Infiniti of Montclair for a second opinion and they corrected the problem for $125. They could have made some extra dough but took good care of me instead. Great service guys! can't recommend not even if it was free 7/13/2009

The most unpleasant auto service received to date. Took my car in for 60k service. Got my car back with the tires rotated but the tire pressure monitoring system not reset. Meaning my display readout inside the car was pointing to tire pressures measuring the wrong tire. The door jam has the manufacturer's recommended tire pressure of 32 or 34. These guys gave the car back to me with pressures from 37 to 40. Not even consistent. The radiator fluid was supposed to be replaced. When i checked it was at the same level when I took in the car. That is, at Minimum. What tech would incorrectly fill the reservoir and leave it at Minimum? These guys are a bit cheaper than most places. But don't even waste your time. I had to take the car into Glendale Infiniti to have them check the work and redo the auto trans service. Bottom line is, the average joe knows how to change his own oil, replace tranny fluid, etc. We don't because we're attempting to save time and money by having a certified tech verify there aren't any issues with the car aside from the things we know how to do. This is where we pay for their experience and due diligence to check for maintenance issues outside of the maintenance work they're performing. When you get a car back and the basic things are incorrect that's going to leave you feeling doubtful if the work was done. Or checked. You are infact paying for a road test too right? So they don't check tire pressures in their road test? Or reset the TPMS? What's worse is the customer service received by these guys when the issue was brought up. Four days after leaving messages I finally speak to one of their service managers. The service manager Joe is probably the rudest service manager I've ever had to deal with. I was told by the GM and the Regional Service Manager that he's been known to be difficult to deal with. My answer is ""the fact that you know this and are telling me this says a lot about the kind of people you employ to represent your company"". You want customer service people to work with customers. All I got was a guy that wanted to argue with me. And when they tell you that will take your car back to recheck the work. Remember, that they're not entitled too. And if you turn it down it doesn't mean that you're turning down someone checking out the work. When they did the work wrong there's no reason to give the car back when they insult you and belittle you. A redo is a privilege not a right to redo the work. As an aside, I took my car to Devin at Glendale Infiniti. They found a cracked belt. A dipstick with a broken seal which caused oil to spill over to the under carriage guard. The transmission fluid needed replacing. Listened to my concerns over my past experience at Infiniti Montclair and made sure to double check everything. Santa Monica Infinit went out of business. I'm curious to if this is a problem with Infiniti in general losing customer loyalty due to bad reps. Montclair can keep this up and expect the same results. Cons: people more

I've tried the rest, Infiniti service is definitely the best. They'll treat you right. I've taken cars to many other service departments and have never had the great service as that I've had here. Pros: Very helpful and an overall pleasant experience. more

Great Customer Service 8/27/2007

My last few visits to the Infiniti of Montclair have been great. They provide excellent service, they are very detailed when explaining what type of service is needed and recommended. After the service is complete they will make sure to call you as soon as the car is ready to be picked up. The car will be driven to the entrance so that you wont have to look for it and make you feel like your very valued. \r \r After the servie is completed the car is also returned washed and clean ready to go on the road.
