House of Spices, open 11-8, is a small Indian grocery store with a good selection of packaged spices and nuts; beans and lentils; large bags of different types of rice and flour and lots of other Indian staples. They carry fresh fruits and vegetables (though mostly the American version of squash, eggplants and peppers) and live herb plants when available. The store has refrigerated cases in the back for frozen foods and carries a selection of packaged sweets, including what I think of as Indian "petit fours". House of Spices has it's own small parking lot but they also have the advantage of being on the corner in case you have to park around the block and walk.
