I would give this place zero stars if I could. My 1-year old was in the toddler room at Lewis-Gale. The staff fed and changed the kids, but other than that they didn't seem to do much else with the kids except to reprimand them for misbehaving. One morning, as I was dropping my son off, an employee walked in and said ""ugh, I didn't want to come to work today. I thought about calling in sick but I needed the paycheck."" You don't say that in front of a parent! Another time I saw a kid start crying and the teacher said ""Not again (so-and-so)! I can't handle your crying again today!"" in a mean voice and walked away from the crying kid. My son was there for nearly a month and cried more and more the longer he was there until I decided enough was enough. more

The place shuffles around your kids and you never know where they are throughout the day. They keep sick kids there all day with flu, pink eye, lice, whatever it may be. They're rude, etc. I've only been to one Honeytree and that's enough for me. I thought everything was wonderful until I really found out how it was. They can't ever keep the same employees because they treat them all horribly. I found out so much to be true after befriending and becoming best friends with an employee there..
