I would give this place zero stars if I could. My 1-year old was in the toddler room at Lewis-Gale. The staff fed and changed the kids, but other than that they didn't seem to do much else with the kids except to reprimand them for misbehaving. One morning, as I was dropping my son off, an employee walked in and said ""ugh, I didn't want to come to work today. I thought about calling in sick but I needed the paycheck."" You don't say that in front of a parent! Another time I saw a kid start crying and the teacher said ""Not again (so-and-so)! I can't handle your crying again today!"" in a mean voice and walked away from the crying kid. My son was there for nearly a month and cried more and more the longer he was there until I decided enough was enough.
