www.hometownemporium.com I love HTE and it's wide menu selection. The bread is always fresh baked and the meats are not deli packaged but baked all night slowly to bring out the best flavor! They also have a vege sandwich which is scrumptious. The ambiance is "family oriented" and "community oriented" as there are large photos on the walls showing the owners family members in days past and many old photos of athletic teams and graduation pictures from the community on the wall. There is also a Wall of Heroes which has pictures and notes of local men and women serving in the military from the Exeter area. The owners two sons also serve in the military. You just can't go wrong with any menu selection and the food is served in large quantity; there is always some left for me to take home for another meal. :) Come with me into HTE; very high ceilings and old wood floors beckon you to come in along with the large stuffed bear that wears a different t-shirt each week. :) I forgot to mention that there is a small gift section and they do wrap gifts bought there for FREE, beautifully too!! HTE also does catering and specializes in beautiful wedding cakes. I must say the cake is mouthwatering, I don't know what the secret ingredient is! Enjoy!
