Radisson Hotel Niagara Falls-Grand Island

The name Byblos Niagara Resort and Spa matched up to the product. We found an affordable, romantic getaway with spectacular views of the Niagara River. Felt like we were in a far away land. Renovated room, large indoor/outdoor pool and hot tub, beautiful grounds, marina, docking, championship golf course and a restaurant/patio overlooking the Niagara. The Falls, casinos and Canada are only 10 minutes. Finally, a new ownership experience. What a change from the same old flag hotels. more

While visiting Niagara Falls for our 40th anniversary we decided to stay in Niagara Byblos for the evening. It was the best hotel we stayed in during our 6 week drive through many states. The reception hosts were professional and very accommodating especially when we shared that we were celebrating our anniversary. Our room had a balcony that overlooked Grand Lake so our morning coffee was complimented by a beautiful view. Our room was a suite with separate living room and bedroom and hot tub in the bedroom. Two bathrooms, large closet, and comfort everywhere would indicate that this would be a great stay for longer than our one night. more

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for the 4th time (annual car show) and were pleased to see, under new ownership, that the restaurant has improved greatly! The food was terrible the other three times we have stayed there. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was pleasant and clean as always. Stil waiting to get some chairs on the deck off our room. Maybe next year! The hotel took good care of all the car show patrons. more

We were there for a hockey tournament. Yes, the building is a bit dated, but fantastic pool area. Spacious main floor with bar and restaurant so you don't have to leave premises. Rooms are good, river view is nice. Good quality sheets. Friendly staff. Good location on Niagara River. more

My cousin in USA had booked us for a day's trip to Niagara Falls and the bus trip took us to this sprawling hotel at the end of a long drive and sight seeing. It was a very pleasant surprise and all our fatigue disappeared. The Hotel is located close to Niagara River and has a big lobby with a fire place and huge gymnasium and indoor swimming pool. The room was spacious with two queen beds and a clean big bathroom. The hotel staff was very courteous. The restaurant was huge and overlooking River Niagara. We did not have breakfast as we were to leave early. \r My cousin who has visited Niagara a number of times also was amazed at the facilities and said it was much better than where she had been previously. Yes I will definitely love to return here. more

I spent one night at this hotel. The place was clean and quite. The indoor pool was under renovation and I would like to return for a swim. Its the largest non water park pool I have ever seen. All of the staff was very friendly from the front desk, housekeeping and room service. We ordered two dinners and the food was great and reasonably priced. Beautifully set on the Niagara River I would stay again if returning to visit Niagara Falls,, It's short distance from the falls yet away from the crowds. more

We have been to the former ""Holiday Inn"" for many years. Byblos bought this property at auction and have invested 2.5 million in the Hardware (furnace, roof, exterior etc..) This is a wonderful location along the Niagara River with plenty to do in the area. Easy to get to and a very accommodating staff upon arrival. Dinner was awesome, service excellent, hotel was clean and everything well organized and as expected. Room was clean, apparently just remodeled with new Mattresses. Excellent value for the amenities included. According to Hotel staff, more updates are on the way. Hopefully the cost will not increase too much as well. more

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights a couple of weeks ago. Our stay was very good, the service was amazing, the food was tasty and presentable, the staff was helpful and our room was very clean. They have the best gym ever and I beleive there are no other hotels have gyms like that as it has all sort of equipments. The pool was spacious and the temperature of the water was ideal. I admit that some parts of the hotel need some updates. it happens that I met one of the managers who told me that the hotel is going to be under major renovations for the rooms, lobby, hallways and other facilities. more

The Grand Island Holiday Inn was in a great location, about 5 minutes off the main highway. Those 5 minutes made all the difference in feeling like I'd taken a nice trip to the countryside. I'm from NY, so I don't always want a big city/downtown area feel to my hotels. With its location on the Niagara River, being across from a golf course, and rural feel, it was great to be at that Holiday Inn. Although the hotel allows pets, the carpets were clean. I probably saw one small stain on a section of carpet during my entire stay. There was zero pet odor. I have three dogs, so I know what pet odor smells like. Also, there wasn't any smell of smoke in the rooms or the corridors of the hotel. The hotel balcony was nice. You just have to roll your room chair out to sit down. The outdoor pool was closed and drained. The indoor pool was great and was full of locals in the morning doing water aerobics. There's an arcade room, which leads out to the gazebo. It was beautiful. The Grand Lady yacht is docked outside. Jet skiers and power boaters cruise around past the hotel. It's very scenic. The staff were great. They smiled and it felt sincere. They gave great recommendations on food and good directions to various venues. My sister is hard to please, but she congratulated me on picking a great location. I'd definitely stay there again! more

Wow! What a great experience I had at your hotel this week! My conference was for over 100 people, with multiple rooms in use, and a luncheon. We had the best service I could have asked for. The breakfast coffee was hot, pastries were fresh and juice was delicious. The facility was clean and your staff was so attentive. Thank you for a wonderful lunch, you chef is outstanding! Keep up the good work and I will be back again for sure. more

Everything was pretty good. We didn't spend much time at the hotel, but when we were there it was cool, comfortable, and suitable for our requirements. Drawbacks: one lady at the front desk wasn't as nice as the other, and i really wanted to ask her to help us instead (being polite, i did not). Ice was not available on our floor and we were sent by staff to 4 different locations before we finally found a working machine. We asked for 2 additional pillows & did not get them until the next day when we asked again. Positives: fabulous view from the balcony! We could even see the fireworks at the Falls from our room. Easy to get to, convenient parking, very friendly hostess at the restaurant. more

Quite place and the view is very beautiful. I went in March, so not much people. 15 minutes drive to the Fall. Great value for family or friends to go together. Internet is fast and parking is convenient, more

I picked this hotel due to its proximity to my business meeting. The hotel is older, but was very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the on-site restaurant was great. I would stay here again whether it was business or pleasure. more
