This entire place sucks so much. 2/23/2012

First of all, the location is crap and it is beyond a million degrees in there. Second, the only real dermatologist in there is Dr. Hines and she's never actually there and I've heard she's an asswipe. Third, the people that are there are extremely rude and they overbook and are bad at scheduling. The first time I went there, they booked me on a day they only do surgery and they're only open until like 1pm. My appt. was at 3:30pm. I was very angry and left, they called and said come back tomorrow. This is 12 miles from my house, mind you. What a waste of gas. The next day, I waited almost an hour, around 45 minutes to 55 minutes before seeing some woman who asked me a series of unimportant questions that were not related to why I was there. Then, I waited another 20 minutes in the room for Dr. Kane, who by the way is an ignorant woman who talks under her breath. She yelled at me because she was speaking so softly that I couldn't hear her at all. Then, she yelled at me for a good five minutes for going to the office for my acne, which I've had problems with for over 6 years. She said I barely had any when I have moderate acne. It's all over my body, lol. It's very, very visible. She said ""There's nothing I can do for you. You're already on the perfect medication. All I can do is up the dosage."" She proceeded to double my dosage of minocycline and left my Retin A at it's regular dose, and yelled at me because apparently my other doctor hadn't put me on enough mino. She then told me I am not a candidate for Accutane, when I hadn't even mentioned it. Dr. Kane then scheduled me for another appt. four weeks later, which I'm not going to because she's an asswipe. Overall, I wouldn't ever recommend this crappy ""dermatologist."" They suck so much cock. Don't go there, I don't regret it but I have learned a valuabe lesson. By the way, the gift shop next door is also pretty shitty. If you choose to go here, prepare for the shittiest appointment of your life. more

Awful place 9/21/2011

I made an appointment here by calling the general number and thought I had an appointment at the Summer Street location. I arrived at my appointment to find this location closed...called the number and was told my appointment was actually just down the road at the Raynham office so that's where I went. I arrive at the Raynham office the secretary was very nice and I filled out my paperwork and I was seen in a timely fashion. Now to the examine room (I was with my fiance) I am greeted by a much older gentleman. He asked why I was there and I told him acne...he said it was hormonal...then he said he would be right back a short time later he returns with a bag of Neutrogena and EXPIRED topical gel and a sheet about acne. Tells me to wash my face 2x per day and apply gel after. DID NOT give me a chance to ask any questions or EVEN look at my face or anything like that. It was the most awful experience...gave me a follow-up in one month which I am going to cancel and send a letter to request my money back!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE...YOU WILL GET NOTHING FROM THEM!!! more

Borders on Scam 7/26/2011

When you make an appointment here, you are not making arrangements to be seen by a dermatologist. You will be seen by whatever doctor happens to be working there that day. None of them are dermatologists. Mine specialized in internal medicine. The only dermatologist is the owner, Dr. Hines. She spends just a few hours each week at each of her offices. The doctors there may be fine in their respective fields, but calling this place a dermatology center borders on being a scam. more

not good 10/6/2009

I got there, the taunton office, and its the FIRST time i've ever seen ""fogged"" cover glass where the receptionist sits, ...I stood there for 20 minutes until i finally sat down, while they stood behind the hidden glass and chatted about , whatever, (personal stuff NOT work related!) it was ridiculous. Pros: doctor was nice Cons: waiting and customer service./office ppl more
