We stayed at the Hilton Palm Springs Resort last weekend for a convention. "Resort" is a bit of a stretch--no golf course, no casino, no fancy facilities, just a pool with cabanas.\r
\r
The restaurant had difficulty figuring out how to handle a breakfast order other than by telling us to purchase the full buffet. This despite offering us a menu with a la carte items as well.\r
\r
Still, the rooms have the Hilton quality you expect, and the prices were decent. It's a low-rise hotel, so there is not much view, except the Spa Casino accross the street. It is convenient to downtown Palm Springs, the convention center and the casino.
PROS: Well located, excellent rooms
CONS: Not much "resort" facilities for a "resort."
