Over the years I've tried The Grill under (I believe) 3 different owners, on all sorts of occasions, and I just can't seem to catch them on a good day. The chef(s) don't seem to use spices very well (hot and bland were the primary ones!) Food quality is mediocre and cooking is very amateurish. On one occasion I did take a friend for a birthday lunch on the deck in July and he ordered a fabulous ""Mediterranean Pizza"". It was thin crust with just the right amount of basil, pesto, tomato, olives and mozzarella. When I went back to ask for it again, the staff that day said they'd never heard of it and couldn't find a menu from a Sunday lunch to look!
