Good trip to the dentist 6/24/2010

Just got several crowns done at Hendersonville office. Dentist and staff were very professional and caring. My crowns were all done same-day and I have not had any pain since. The dentist took his time to make sure they fit just right. Pricing was fair and explained well. I will be going back again. Pros: Pain-free, same day crowns, clean more

Tired of the hard sell...can't trust them 4/20/2009

Embassy dental took over this location a few years ago. Everyone has been nice but I noticed a big change immediately. One visit my teeth are fine and in the next I am given a suggested course of treatment for more than $2000. Then they said okay let's set that up now. I had to literally fight them off to say no. Most was cosmetic stuff and when pressed they agreed nothing was really needed. I went back a few times and got the same pitch every time. Now they want to charge me $25 every time I cancel an appointment less than 24 hours out. I have never missed an appointment, but this too seems ridiculous. It's too bad corporations are taking over dental care. I can't trust them to tell me if something is really wrong. I don't have this problem with my doctor and I've never had this problem with a dentist thus far. Embassy needs to rethink their practices. I quickly found an independent dentist. Pros: nice people Cons: can't trust them more

Go here at your own risk... you only have 28 teeth to sacrifice. 11/3/2008

The very shortened story is that I went in for a sore tooth. I was unsure of which one it was, so the assistant poked and prodded until she found the pain. She x-rayed that tooth and could see nothing. The dr. came in and looked and supposedly saw (with her eye) a cavity in it. She filled it. I left. The pain continued. I went back several days later and told them they filled the wrong tooth. They got rude to me and then told me that there was nothing wrong with the other tooth on the x-ray. I say, maybe not, but you can see a cavity with your bare eyes. It should have been seen when I was here last week, but apparently you didn't look. Anyway, I was then shown the x-ray, which, oddly enough, was an x-ray of the tooth that hurt, the tooth that they didn't fill. Odd isn't that? So then they fill the other tooth and give me attitude about it and leave a big sharp chunk hanging off the side. When I get home and dig up my bill from last time, they noted on it that the x-ray was for tooth 20 but they filled tooth 21. My bill actually proves that they x-rayed the hurting tooth and then drilled out and filled a different one. They are completely incompetent. Pros: Location Cons: Incompetence more
