Golden Orchid has just about everything you would need in a spa. And coupled with the friendly people that work there, it just cannot be beat. I drive an hour just to go to the Golden Orchid rather than go to a local spa. It's really worth it. I've had massages, body wraps, and waxes there. Everyone who works there is friendly but professional. Appointments can be made via email or phone or in person. I believe they also take walk-ins. The spa is in a nineteenth century brick home and is quaint and cozy. As soon as you arrive, the receptionist will offer you something to drink. The place is kept as quiet as possible for optimal relaxation. The massages are heavenly. Jocelyn and Pat really know what they are doing. And Theresa is an absolutely talented esthetician. Golden Orchid is also one of the few places in this area that does the Brazilian waxes that are so popular in other parts of the country. They have many more services available ranging from pedicures to facials to full body treatments. All in all, I cannot find any flaws with this spa. It is a perfect place to spend a relaxing afternoon. more

Golden Orchid Day Spa and Shop is a wonderful relaxing plce to go to get away , even if just for an afternoon of rest , relaxation , and pampering. They offer many different specialty treatments. Icluding massage , hand and foot treatments , facials , wraps. They have themed treatment rooms. The asian room , the country garden room , the tropical room , the celestial room , and the tuscan room just to name a few. The prices are reasonable. The service and treatments are wonderful. They also sell oils and home made body products and homemade candles in their specially shop located right off of the spa as well. more
