The Long Beach Aquarium of the pacific is a wonderful place to take a family or to go on a date or alone for that matter. It's about $20 a ticket for adults but they also have a lot of different discounts offered throughout the year. Parking costs money in a paid parking lot. Usually you can get an all day lot for around $8. The aquarium itself is very impressive. Located right beside the ocean and they have so many different varities of fish to look at as well as sea lions and otters and even a touch exhibit where you get to feel sting rays and other sea creatures. I highly recommend taking the family there over like disneyland. Much more educational !

Metro Car Wash is a nice carwash. They do a great job. You drop it off by the vaccuums. They do that first. They clean the inside head to toe. Then it goes through the soft cloth wash and then on to the hand drying. They do detailing for extra. If you show them your drivers license on your birthday they will give you a car wash for free. How cool is that ! It's not overpriced. Best to go during the week, They are really busy on the weekend. They have free coffee inside to drink while you wait and tables and chairs outside to sit in while they wash and dry.

Camelot is a mini golf course and arcade done in a castle theme. They are also attached to a go kart track and water slides and bumper boats next door. But the mini golf prices do not include those other activities. The golf course is fun. A little old and out dated though. The place has run down over the years and now has a sort of unsavory element to it. I'd take my kids to the movies before letting them go there alone. Parental supervision is advised here. The arcade is ok , sort of dirty. Lots of parking though but if you are a family go during the day not at night. It's bombarded with cruising cars at night.

It's done in a very oldfashioned old time theater feel. great prices , especially for the matinee showings. They even have a couples night where it's only open for romantic date night. The snack bar is great and the bathrooms clean. The theater is immaculate as well. Plenty of parking and great service inside. A great place to take your family for a movie. They are very kid friendly !

Holiday Roller Rink has been in Orange forever. When I was a child our elementary school used to have family night there. Funny thing is , now i'm grown and have my own family and they still have family night for the schools at holiday. they have of course remodled several times throughout the years. It's a very fun family atmosphere. Lots of parking outside and really good prices for skate time and skate rental. They have an awesome snack bar inside as well. Fun times !

They also sell all sorts of candy , including homemade fudge. I should mention that all of their candy is of the homemade variety. Made with the finest of ingredients and packaged up real nice. They also sell little specialty gift items and have some of the old fashioned funky candy for sale as well by the register. Like cinnamon toothpicks and chik a sticks. There is a lot of parking because it is in a strip mall located off of Tustin avenue which is the main drag through town !

Hot skates also sells clothing and skate shoes and all the necessary safety equiptment for kids just learning. They also sell watches and stickers and other fun skate related items. Parking is a bit difficult since it is located in the "circle" , parking is mostly on the street.

Adventure Park USA used to be Putt Putt golf and games in Frederick. They tore that down and relocated and now have a huge adventure park that will open on october 28th 2005. They have set up an arcade , cafe. Laser tag and paintball and a ropes course and bumper boats and go-carts. As well as a larger mini golf course. It's set up like a western ranch. Very family orientated and a great place to go with the family. You can spend hours on end there and have something everyone will enjoy !
