Golden Harvest Chinese Rstrnt

I have eaten at alot of china resturants in town. this place is 35% better than the second best. If you want great fresh food that totaly satasfies your craving for chinese, you need to give golden harvest a shot (off 12th, N side of road, east of kiawanis 1.5 blocks) I dont ever waste my time with these review sites, but i have spent 30 min setting up an account to spred the word. I just found this place and both times i have been there it was fresh, hot, quick and exactly what i needed. the second time i was there,i asked the girl what she suggested, and it was Great. Perfectly cooked veggies, awesome sauce, tender meats. UR GONNA LOVE It!!! Nice job Golden Harvest, thanks. Yous guys are the best take out in town more

dondon..if you were to ask more about the restaurants you review, just keep your negativity to yourself. You have not gave one good review about one restaurant. The cook is actually from China, which brings you the chinese restaurant part. His family then migrated from China to Cambodia then to the USA. It's a little nice to know things if you actually ask them before you speak your gossip about a place. more

I justed tried this restaurant tonight! I would recommend people stay away from it if you want authentic Chinese dishes. Although this restaurant advertised itself as a Chinese restaurant, it is not. The owner is a Cambodian woman who does not speak Chinese. The cook was from Cambodia. The waiters are from India. We ordered two dishes: Kung Po Chicken and Mongolian Pork. These two dishes tasted almost identical and very different from real Chinese dishes. I think that the only connection this restaurant has with Chinese is its menu, which was passed down from the previous owner, who happens to be Chinese and know how to make Chinese dishes. I feel like I got spoiled from another restaurant in town, and for a long time after it left, I didn't really eat Chinese in Sioux Falls. I have found Golden Harvest to be a very good replacement. It is definitely not one of those places where you get the same ""gravy"" over every entree you order. The food is prepared well, and the staff is friendly. The service is relatively quick, and you can't beat the lunch prices. Pros: Great food every time. Cons: The ambiance isn't the greatest, but fortunately, I eat out for the good food... more
