Gesinee's is THE WORST STORE ON EARTH 1/24/2006

THIS PLACE SUUUUUUCCCCKKKKKSSSSS!!!! Do not buy anything from this place!!!! YOU WILL BE VERY VERY VERY SORRY, IF YOU DO!!! They are very rude and will not do anything for you that is remotely accommodating. I am in the process of ordering bridesmaids gowns, and they are not going to arrive on time. And they are all going to be too big, so that they can rip you off on alterations. Furthermore, they called me to tell me that I needed to pay an extra $50 per dress to get the shipping upgraded to rush since they weren't going to make it here on time. I told them to wait, as I had to call my attendants. Then I decided not to buy from them and tried to cancel. She said that I couldn't since the order was already placed. I told her what am I going to do with dresses that come after my wedding date???? Long story short, all the attendants are canceling their orders through their credit cards. No one should ever have to go through something like this. Good thing my fiance is a lawyer and I just graduated law school. I will take them to small claims court if there is any more trouble. more

Bridal Place 11/24/2005

This place has a nice look from the outside, (of COURSE they display their most gorgeous, flattering gowns in the window- who doesn't?) but on the inside it isn't very nice, and most things are very overpriced. The ladys that work there are sometimes nice and sometimes not, depending on who they are. I personally think they are rude because none of their dresses get sold at such an outrageous price .. even for fittings! No, thank you. I would rather go to another store!! more

Snotty, stuffy and outrageous 9/21/2005

When it comes to customer service, this place is horrible. They charge you a fee for an appointment to try on any of their dresses. They are not very attentive to you unless you look like you are going to give them a lot of money. It was such a turn off that I decided to get my dress from another bridal store in east coast. more

good selection, so-so service 8/19/2005

gesinee's bridal is a good place to look when you are first looking for wedding dresses. it has a large selection and a wide range of prices (from several hundred to several thousand dollars). the problem is, they also separate dresses by price, so if you tell them your limit is high, they may not show you dresses that you would potentially like that are cheaper and vice versa. what i found most annoying though is that if you go back a second time, they charge a "trying on" fee, which although they put towards a dress if you buy there, i find totally bogus. more

Gesinees Bridal 8/12/2005

A friend of mine needed a wedding dress within weeks and we had tried everywhere. We decided to run by Gesinees and see what they had. We figured that they would be too expensive but we would check anyways. We walked in and they said that we needed an appt, we explained the situation and they were very helpful and showed us to the area that had the dresses in the price range that we were looking for. My friend picked out two dresses and ended up buying the very first one that she tried on. They were very busy but still managed to come help us even though we did not have an appt. The only had part about buying off of the rack is that some of the beads were loose but they had it all repaired when we went to pick it up the next week. The minor alteration that it did need cost an arm and a leg though. But otherwise, everything was great! more

i bought my wedding dress here and also bought a bridemaid dress here for anothes wedding i was in. my dress was great a resonible price, but what killed me was the price of alteration. they are very expensive for their alterantions. i was very happy when a did not need to do any alterations to the bridemaid dress. They have a wide selection of dresses and shoes at their store. more
