If you do not want your mower back for over a month, no communication and a very rude and defensive customer service person (Misty) then this is the place to take your equipment.

Can't Please People who want everything for free 6/6/2013

In reply to Rob M. We have been in business for over 55 years. We do not say an engine is bad when you bring it in here for blade problems. Wow.... The nerve of some people. Sorry you were unhappy to find out the unit was ran without oil.\r Thank you and have a nice day. We know who has gone and slandered us on here. It is a shame that the honest people who read these wont. Wish we could post about the customers you can not please for nothing. As I have stated before if you have ever been in this type of business before, you understand that you can not please people who have it out for you in the beging, due to their outdoor equipment they bought has broke down. They did not buy it from us..... more

I took my brand new never used lawn mower in to check the blades cause they were not turning right. and they never would even look at it till a month later then they told me it had another whole different problem..they said the motor was shot and they would dispose of my lawn mower and not charge me for the service call and to call my warranty for a replacement.. well I took it home anyway and fought with my warranty..they were just as shocked as I was..since it was brand new..well to my surprise my roomate was mowing the grass the next day and he said the engine was fine and he fixed the blade. trust me stay away and never go to this place!!! more

This place may have been a good company once.... But NO LONGER. Stay away from them.... I called needing my riding mower to be repaired and they said it would take 2 weeks and they came to pick it up at a cost of $75. It's been OVER a month and we are still trying to get them to fix it. The grass is up to my kneecaps and they are the most horrible people to do business with. They WON'T fix your equipment!!! They WON'T call you. They continually LIE to you about when it will be fixed. Find someone else to do business with. I went to them because Cub Cadet listed them as an authorized repair business. Now it is time for me to complain to Cub Cadet for telling me to take my machine to them. Will also be talking to the owner. more

\r \r \r these guys held my chainsaw hostage for a month. No phone call. When I called about a week after the drop off the guy on the other end of the phone was grumpy and acted like I was nervy to ask because they were 10 days backed up for chainsaws. \r In all fairness I got a nervous feeling when I dropped it off with all of the customer unfriendly signs by the counter. ie- ""we don't take apart things for free"" and "" if you decide you don't want to fix it we won't put it back together"" sign. So after calling these people several times ( they always said that they would call me when they looked at it- they never did) i finally called the other day. They told me it was ready. When I was about to leave to go get it, they called (first time) and told me that they just realized that something major was wrong with it and it would cost me $266 bucks to fix it. I said no and came in and paid the ransom of $35 to let them hold it for a month. True to their word, I got it back in pieces.\r Do yourself a favor and go to somebody that doesn't look at the customer as the enemy.\r \r Was this review …?\r Useful\r \r Funny\r \r Cool\r \r Add owner comment Bookmark Send to a Friend Link to This Review more

what a joke! 4/11/2012

This has to be one of the worst companies i've ever had the displeasure of doing business with. I sent my riding mower to be serviced under warranty to Georgetown Outdoor on Feb 23. I have called several times to find out what the status of my mower was. They never bother to pick up a phone and update me. They claimed a part was backordered. I contacted the warranty company, who in turn put me in contact with the manufacturer.....the part was never backordered. They have now have had my mower for almost 2 months. Don't waste your time or money with them. more

There was a time when work was done reliabley the first time. Yep they are a busy place caterring to commercial firms. I will find a new repair shop. I paid $150.00 to rebuild carbs and tune up......but they seemed to have forgotten to clean out gas tank DURING that repair cause it only ran once. I saw all the junk floating around when i got it home the first time and put gas in it to mow- ran ok but only once. ALL my gas is treated with Stabil and fresh and clean. BUT I need my mower too and paid another $63.00 they charged to THIS TIME CLEAN OUT THE Gas TANK like should have been done the first time. No i have learned. Find a new repair shop. One where the BOSS IS on sight and always there making sure work is done right the first time. And tired of being on HOLD all the time to never be picked up again. more

Pay me-Pay me-screw you 6/8/2010

Just purchased zero turn mower and weed eater over 3600.00 I ask them to repair chainsaw. They took my chainsaw apart then told me that it was to old for repair and charged me 32.00 to tear it apart then gave me the saw back in pieces. They ask me to weld an aluminum flange for them and then wouldn't pay for the welding, just ditched the flange at my place Cons: crooked business dealings more

Good people, good service, worth the wait 4/9/2009

This is the place the professionals go to get their stuff. They are always busy because they are good. They've fixed my mowers, trimmers and blowers and have always done an excellent job. They know the products they sell and stand behind them. Pros: The fix things right, good selection of new equipment Cons: It can take time, close at 3pm on Saturdays more

Service Delivered was on time at a reasonable price. 5/12/2008

They said it would take a week and a half to fix my lawnmower and it was ready in eight days. When I went in to pick it up, the guy behind the counter checked the ticket and found that I had been charged for parts that weren't used and he refunded me the money on the spot--all at no prompting from me. I'll definitely recommend this outfit to others and go back again. Mower starts perfectly now. Pros: Good service, carries a lot of brands if you want a new mower Cons: Parking can be tight more

They give false information on the price and the wait time. When questioning about the work completed and the additional cost-they would have manager call-never happen. Had to call back two times to get the ""manager."" they basically said,"" There are places in Austin you can go to"" When l picked up lawn mower it had oil all over and around the motor, poor example of overpriced work. Will never go back and strongly suggest others to use other places. Rude and totally unprofessional. Pros: NONE! Cons: Manager, Price, Honesty more

Avoid this place..........slow service/brains, inconsiderate and incompetent. 6/14/2007

Waited over 4 weeks for a $100 leaf blower (3 months old) to be repaired by these geniuses. Cons: Non knowledgeable, clearly lazy staff, boldy lie to your face regarding repair status more
