Genesis Women's Center

Dr. Rojas did an amazing job with my pregnancy. He was the most pleasant Dr. I have had the pleasure to see. He helped me through the painful decision of getting a C-section. He was there for me through my emotional ties and has been a presence since. I think Genesis Women's Center is such a great place! The staff is kind and courteous. I faint when I give blood and the ladies were there to help me through every step of the way! I couldn't be happier with my choice in caregivers! more

I would have to say this would have to be the best ob gyn i have been to in the county! Everyone there is so warm and welcoming i feel like home when i enter the building. I love going there because i always feel like i have known them forever. The drs are wonderful and so caring. They really work hard to make sure everything your needs are met. They are a great office to have in citrus county! The next best thing is they have a holy bible in the lobby and are a Christian practice! more

Good: The doctors were great, when you actually got to spend more then a minute with them. The location is good because it is only 20 minutes from my house.. Bad: The staff are horrible. The people in the reception area don't return phone calls, don't give your messages to the people you leave them for, and god forbid you they need to answer a question because they get upset being on the phone with you for more then 30 second. The billing is also terrible. The woman who runs it named Gio is a idiot and tries to trick you into paying more. We have NEVER missed a payment, and all of a sudden we are getting bills threatening to send us to collections.. Improvements: They need to fire Gio as she is the worst staff member on hand. They need to train their reception about customer service and how to actually be pleasant. They need to bill at insurance rates even if you are paying out of pocket after your over your benefit limit on maternity. This is how Gio said it would work, and then she changed her mind I guess!. Other: Genesis Women's Center created so much drama during my pregnancy that I feel it actually took away from it. I will now travel to Ocala if I am ever pregnant again.. more

When my sister had a personal problem we called Genesis Women's Center for help. The staff was very helpful in getting my sister in quickly, also we were treated with true respect after getting there for the appt. The process was not that bad, after filling out the needed paper work and going over her insurance it seemed like she was seen within a matter of 1 hour, which I thought was good being a new patient. Everyone we dealt with that day were very kind and the doctor my sister saw was wonderful. All and all I feel like the appt went very well and it was a great experience. I would absoultely refer anyone to this office. more

Good: Dr Rojas is extremly good with patients. I was very impressed with how he helped with my pregnancy.. Bad: The staff are stuck up. When you call on the phone you do not get an answer for 2-3 days. And the wait is horrible. And the Insurance girl does not know how to bill insurance correctly.. Improvements: Wait time, phone manner and office courtesy.. Other: I loved having Dr Rojas as a physician I would continue to go just because of that man. He is very good with patient care. I owe my daughters life to that man. Thank you Dr Rojas!!!. more

This place is beautiful!! I will give them that.. but that is about it! lol Oh wait one more... they have a cool room for the kids to play in while you are waiting to be called! Speaking of waiting.. You wait forever to get in to the office! Then when you get in the room, you wait forever to get seen!! Its crazy! Then... call them up and try to get help or ask a question? They wont call you back till after their closed.. then they say Oh were closed now! NO REALLY!!! But they werent closed at 11 am when you called!! Lol That stinks! Now if you are IN the place and actaully get SEEN quickly, the people are really nice! Just not on the phone!! LOL And I gotta say if you are prego and live far away from them, save the gas money! They arent worth driving way out there for!!! more
