I brought in my sewing machine with tension problems. After three days and a $100 cash payment my machine still had tension problems. I was told that the tension was fine and that it was the best my machine would be. They only take cash for service work. Later that day I took my machine to a competitor, who fixed it properly in one day. The machine sews beautifully now. If you care about your sewing machine, do not bring it here. more

I have been in Coral Springs for quite sometime. We didn't really have much of a vacuum cleaner, so, I searched and found Gator Vacuum and went in. Very warm and friendly people. The owner and his mom were great and greeted me well. Soon, I got to know them when I would bring my vacuum in for service and they were great with my son. Robert understand his work with Vacuums and the associates know their jobs well. They would tell me where the problem was and told me straight out about the price and everything. They bring your vacuum to your car when you need help also. I have owned 3 vacuums from them now. Each one was better than the next. The vacuums are wonderful. Robert and his family are great. I'm really happy with the service and how warm they are. You need to go in for yourself and see the great products they have. They have a great selection. We have a Miele and it's quiet and does an awesome job. I can't speak enough about them. I recommend them. Thanks Gator Vacuum for my new vacuum. It works awesome. more

I went into Gator vacuum and was immediately greeted in a very friendly way by Robert. He asked me some questions to make sure he was showing me the right vacuum for MY needs. It was a pleasure to have such a knowledge sales person working with me who was able to answer my questions. Before I left with my new Miele vacuum, Robert completely assembled it and gave me a lesson in how to use it!! You don't get that kind of treatment anywhere anymore. 2 thumbs up!! more

We have been customers of Gator Vacuum for more than 10 years. We find that the store owner and his personnel are extremely friendly and knowledgeable in their field.\r \r We have purchased two Miele vacuums in this period of time from Gator. Not because the original vacuum wore out, which it did not. But because we were so impressed with the style, versatility and features of Miele we went to look at a newer model, at Gator, and learned that we could have newer more advanced features that would benefit us by upgrading to the current model.\r \r To make the move up easier for us the owner offered us as a trade in almost as much as we paid for the original vacuum that was at that point more than 7 years old. Believe me, it was used and over used during those years. Just ask my husband.\r \r The new vacuum is more than what we expected and we are very pleased with the continuing service. If we miss a service appointment we are allowed a do-over, just by asking nicely. There could not be a better organization to work with.\r \r We recommend Gator Vacuum to anyone who needs a REAL Vacuum Cleaner instead of the junk you get at the big box stores\r . more

Don't waste your money on the crap they sell at Walmart or Target, if your looking for a quality Vacuum, then go to Gator Vacuum. more

ABOUT ARLENES T'S COMMENT\r We are sorry that you feel this way about us as we definitely tried to help you. You came in with your Miele and wanted to have it covered under the warranty, for the warranty you have to have the vacuum serviced within a year... you were at (according to you) 18 months which is 6 months past the warranty. As a one time deal for YOU we said that we would do it anyway as a courtesy. When you came in on a Wednesday there were about 25 vacuums before you, we told you that we would have it done by Monday am. At that point you got hostile saying that you wanted it by Friday, we explained that we could not do that as we had a bunch of people before you. .. we saw that you were mad so in order to make the customer happy we told you that we could have it done by sat noon. You said that you were leaving out of town and that was not Saturday was not gonna work, we already #1 offered to still honor your warranty and #2 we moved up the date that you could get your vacuum (putting you ahead of other people)....YOU SAID THAT WE WOULDN'T HONOR YOUR MIELE FOREVER SERVICE PLAN.. THATS A LIE.\r \r Nothing we could have done could have stopped you from writing a bad review other than dropping everything and servicing your vacuum as you stood there. \r \r Everybody has a bad day, Arlene we dont want you to dislike us. You must understand that we did try but you couldnt get it back when you wanted it ... so you werent happy. How about you come back in and we can give this another try. Also the bed bath and beyond coupons exclude Miele.\r more

We went looking for a garage kit for our home central vacuum system and also discovered some great enhancements for the home to boot! Yes, Robert knows a lot, so shut up and listen. He is the owner after all. Shawn is lower on carbs and fat but also knows his stuff. You gotta have fun! more

If you want to be insulted and made to think that not bringing in the vacuum you paid $800 for at Gator Vacuum is a crime then feel free to patronize this store. The owner is nasty, arrogant and rude. There are many other Miele Authorized dealers in the area and Hepa replacement filters do not cost $59.95. You can get them at Bed Bath and Beyond for $49.95 then use a 20% off coupon. I was scammed into buying a $99.00 forever service plan - guess what, they won't honor it because I did not bring the vacuum in for a year, oh my. more

Great Customer Service!!! 5/9/2012

It seems we only hear about the negative comments when it comes to customer service. I want to change that by making sure that everyone knows that Gator Vacuum is the kind of business that goes out of their way to solve your problem. My daughter has been going there for many years and has always been happy with the service and attention she gets from not only the staff but the owner. I remember when she told me the owner himself carried her vacuum out to her car because the other guys were busy. I recently brought in my 20yr old vacuum that stopped working, I was sure Gator Vacuum wouldn't be able to find the parts to fix it. To my surprise I got a call the next day that they found the parts they need and would have my vacuum ready to pick up in 2 days! When I came in to pick up my vacuum, it was waiting for me and had been polished and cleaned up so well it looked brand new! I'm a ""clean freak"" and couldn't wait to get home and vacuum. The owner carried the vacuum out to my car, placed it in my trunk and even opened my car door for me! It doesn't get any better than that!! more

Dear Gator Vacuum / Think Vacuums, Usually I extensively research items I intend to buy, especially over the internet. When I started looking for a central vacuuming system I happened to land on Think Vacuum's web site. I called with a question about a certain brand and the call taker said that I could speak to the owner Robert, who could answer my questions best. She was right. Robert took time to explain to me about different brands, quality, and what the different warranties were. He didn't pressure me at all to buy anything but instead enlightened me about what to look for in a central vacuum system. A few weeks later I called back and placed an order direct with Robert. He even gave me a discount coupon which I was not aware of at the time. What I really liked about this place is that they took a personal interest in me. I know if I have a problem with my order or installation I can always talk to Robert. I wish more businesses would be like this. James E. K. more

FRIENDLY STAFF, GREAT SERVICE 8/1/2011

My wife and I just moved into a new apartment with mixed flooring, both carpets and bare floors, and with three cats, pet hair is a problem. We spoke with Jim at Thinkvacuums and he recommended the Sanitaire SC3683. The suction on this vacuum is excellent and is perfect for our families cleaning needs. The customer service was great, the prices were very reasonable and the shipment came in quickly. I appreciate that Jim took the time to listen to what my wife and I were in the market for and not just push the flavor of the week. THANKS FOR HIS EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE we purchased a great vacuum that my life loves and that makes me happy because if she loves using the vacuum that's one less chore of my ""honey do list"". more

We love our new pet vacuum ! 3/18/2011

I live in boca raton, and went to gator vacuums after finding their web site online at thinkvacuums.com\r \r I spoke to a man in his 30's, I think he was named rob, or robert.\r \r We talked about my sht-zu, jainet, who left a lot of dog hair on my carpet and furniture. I needed a vacuum that gets pet hair out ! I really needed a top machien that would work and last for a long time, as Im always cleaning off all that darn dog hair.\r \r Rob and I agreed that a Miele or Miela would be the best machine for me. I picked the S5580 model and it all these new features that I have never seen before on a vacuum. There were led lights, which looked really neat. It had other features on it, but I dont even know what they were, all I know is that the vacuum really gets out the pet hair and keeps my home clean !\r \r Really appreciated the help, thank you rob and thinkvacuums. more

Gator Vacuums gave me great advice and service 3/17/2011

I made the decision to purchase a central vacuum system for my home, but I did not know anything about the different units and models. I found them on line after doing a search. There are a lot of different models out there, so I had no idea which one was right for me. I sent them an email asking for help. Dan, one of their salespeople sent me an email back and we started talking about how big my house was, and which system was right for me. After being offered a few different choices, I picked the Nutone VX 550 model. Im happy I chose this model. It really had a lot of features. There 's a light indicator that shows me when the bag is full, and the system actually shut itself off when the bag was full. The system was installed by a contractor who knew what he was doing. He placed it in a corner in my garage, and I am very happy about the installation. I was told that Nutone is the one of the best, if not the best on the market, and after living with it for 4 months, its really come through for me and performed. I thank Gator Vacuums, Think vacuums com very much. more

Great help 1/11/2011

Our central vacuum motor started making some crazy noises in the garage. When I opened it up to see what was wrong I saw that the motor was sparking. I found thinkvacuums online and gave them a call. I spoke with a rep there who was great with me on the phone. I believe his name was Dan. Anyway. He was able to point me in the right direction. I got a new motor shipped out to me within less than a week from calling, he even pointed me in the right direction to find an installer. The vacuum is back to normal and working better than ever. Just wanted to thank thinkvacuums for their help! more
