visited 02-07-12 not a busy night, was seated in bar area by the entrance i was a party of one. \r had appetizer;; stuffed pepper. tasteless and way over cooked. only reason it was held together was the skin.ate part of it\r main course;;; osso buco on a bed of risotto. waited long time, when it finally arrived, oil was flowing from risotto. meat was very dry, had to order a side of sauce to pour over meat along with cheese to get some sort of flavor from meal. ate it anyway the only good thing was the bottle of wine. don't know why it is Zagut approved more

We only had apps. But very friendly bartender and the owners were very gracious. Had a bottle of wine and some apps. Good food great atmosphere were looking forward to having a full on dinner there more

This was our second time at Fulvio's 1900. Our first experience here was on Valentine's day. The waiter was very knowledgable about the menu-our overall experience was great, so great that we decided to bring my Dad to the restaurant. The waiter we had this second time was also very knowledgable and attentive up until we got our entrees, we did see him one time after that. We were disappointingly met with a very nasty attitude from another server who took our dessert order. We then waited in excess of an hour for the check and when I approached someone on the floor I unknowingly spoke to the owner, who was extremely condescending and rude. I will never be back. You can be sure that I will be telling EVERYONE never to dine here- EVER. :) more

Gracious waiters and hostess. Beautifully prepared and served food. This restaurant never failed us for all the years. not that I don't like kids-but this is real grown up dining. Great conversations over a nicely paced meal. Everybody seems content. more

Well worth the price of admission. Quaint, cozy and romantic. Definately have the mussels appetizer and the panacotta dessert. I HIGHLY recomend. As a special treat, enjoy the owners wine tasting shop next door. more

Fulvio's is a excellent place for a relaxed paced meal. No South Florida/Miami Beach hub-bub. Just solid dishes and friendly service. more

Located in quaint downtown Hollywood, Florida, this little gem of a restaurant is worth the drive from Miami or Boca. The calamari is a pleasant deviation from the fried variety. Instead it is lightly breaded and then sauteed with peppers and onions in a savory tomato sauce. Veal Chop Pizzaiolo is to die for, succulent and spicy. Snapper Francese is the best I've ever tasted. If it's not on the menu, ask Junior (Fulvio Jr.) and he will make it for you. Cheesecake is house made and served with fresh berries. Nothing plain about this dessert. Strawberry panna cotta with cracked pepper makes a nice ending to any meal. New to the menu is the cheese plate. Let them pick it out for you and ask for Mama Carmen's fig marmalade. The wine list rivals any in Florida or New York. Fulvio has some gems hidden in the room upstairs that he might let go of for a price. Bon appetit!
