French Confection the

I have had cakes from the French Confection for the past 8 years. The cakes have always been beautiful and tasted great.My parents 50th Anniversary was the best of all, it was 3 years ago and people still talk about it. The past two birthday cakes were not the same as the others in the past. They were not moist, the creme inside was a very thin layer. The decoration did not have the details I had asked for.I was very disappointed. more

The French Confection has beautiful wedding cakes. My sister's wedding cake came from the French Confection and it looks elegant and classic, like the types of cakes you'd see in magazines. It was simple and understated without all the unnecessary frills that sometimes makes wedding cakes look tacky. The best part about the cake was the flavor. Many times wedding cakes look beautiful on the outside but aren't so great tasting, but this cake was moist and very flavorful with raspberry and creams in the middle. The frosting was awesome as well, and since I don't typically like frosting, that says a lot! The cakes are a bit pricey, but it's worth it if you want the wedding cake of your dreams and don't want to pay a fortune to get it in the suburbs of Detroit. more
