I am SOOOO thankful the Fix It Shop is still around in the Crescenta Valley. I discovered them about 4-5 years ago at a friends recommendation and over those years, the Fix It Shop has fixed and rejuvenated two lamps, two old radios, 1 clock, blender, made keys for me, etc. for very reasonable prices.
In this day and age of throwaway society, where repairing is no longer valued, I am forever thankful to these guys for keeping their doors open so that I can keep my reliable old appliances.
They have moved several times over the recent years. They were in Tujunga in two locations, and more recently have relocated to La Canada Flintirdge, still on Foothill Boulevard. They've changed their phone number at least once, unfortunately, so I thought that they had gone out of business...but low and behold, I stumbled on them recently when I was browsing the internet and was ELATED!
Brian, the owner, is absolutely down to earth. They also install security systems as their main bread and brother, so am thankful that they keep the small repair part of their business going. Fazal is nice though a bit hard to understand sometimes because of a heavy accent but don't let that get in your way as he's fabulous.
If you have any small appliance that needs repair, be sure to visit the Fix It Shop!
