Customer service sorely lacking 4/14/2014

I have never been treated so shabbily in my life. I went to this store to exchange a fairly pricey but very small ring that I received as a gift. By small I mean the size of the stone and the fit on my finger. So, you see, I wanted to upgrade, thus spend more money. The sales crone told me nope, no way, it's been after 30 days and you could have worn it. ??!! Um, it doesn't FIT but you're telling me I could have worn it shoveling horse manure for 28 or 29 days then exchanged it and THAT would be acceptable? I did not want a refund, I wanted to spend more money in your store! She acted as though my husband and I were not good enough to be there (understand, this place is one step above a pawn shop and my husband is an engineer). Our disposable income is plenty green lady and from now on I will tell everyone to stay out of this store and will satisfy my insatiable appetite for jewelry elsewhere. There's no shortage of competition and plenty of birthdays, anniversaries, Mother's Days, Val more

Buy your gifts elsewhere! 2/15/2014

Take your hard earned money ANYWHERE besides this business. It is nothing but a buzzard, feeding off of cheaply acquired estate jewelry of questionable quality, and trying to pass them off as new, top quality pieces. There is a decent pawn shop right on Main St that will give you better service and quality for your money. If you want a "24k gold" cocktail ring that languished in someone's dead great aunt's attic for decades that will leave your finger green and rashy (oh, and DO NOT make the mistake of thinking of returning it for exchange, you are stuck with it) or a beautiful "sapphire" bracelet with mismatched stones that constantly fall out, then The Fine Arts Shop is the store for you. If you love the person you want to by a gift for and value and service are important to you, do not darken this clip joint's doorway. more

THE place to find one of a kind jewelry 6/22/2006

I love this jeweler for many reasons. FOr one thing, they're not your typical jewelry store. They buy and sell antique jewelry, and have some of the most exquisite and one of a kind pieces I've ever seen. Best of all, they have a huge selection of those pieces. I've found many beautiful antique(and new) pieces here at extremely reasonable prices. Their selection of opals last time I went was amazing! It's hard to find truly great opal rings/earrings, but they had plenty of great ones to choose from. Reccomended for collectors and casual buyers. more
