I am not big on blogging and e-reviews and other things of that nature. However in this case, I feel this is the least I can do. I purchase a 46 inch Sony HDTV KDL series over 3 years ago. The best on the market at the time at a cost just over $2000 with tax. Honestly, this model is still better than half of whats on the market today. But recently the picture started to go bad (constant flickering). I took it to several places including Best Buy where I bought a three year warranty that expired that I didn't renew. Everywhere I went said the TV was DONE! One place said the price it will cost to fix it I might as well get another one. Then I fould Falcones Electronic on Sony's website where I should've started in the first place, lol. As soon as I walk in I was greeted by the kindest senior citizen who really takes you back to what the good old days of real customer service is. He has alot of life in him, he seems like he could be a hundred years old but he aslo seems like has a hundred more to go, lol. I dropped it off, later that week he contacted me stating SONY is shipping a brand new panel and master-slave inverter (whatever the hell those are, lol) All in all, he got Sony to ship over $1500 in parts completely FREE!!!! All he charge was the labor which came to approx $200. Mr. Falcone if you reading this, once again I'd like to say THANK YOU! You have brought excitement back to the bedroom because according to my wife I just don't quite cut it, lol. more

This is a wonderful family owned business that is professional, knowledeable, and thorough in their work. I would highly recommend this service center if you want your electronics to be well taken care of, evaluated, and fixed in a skilled and competant manner. I have a sony tv that keeps turning off by itself & called sony Falcones were on there list.First week I talked to a man & he told me to check a few things & get back to him.I have called them 4 or 5 times since & no response.I have contacted sony & told them the problem & gave Falcone name & phone number.I hope sony will take them off there repair list. My Samsung 40"" purchased from Amazon just less than 2 yrs ago began to power on and off, sometimes with a picture, sometimes with vertical stripes on the screen with no picture. I had an extended warranty on the set and went through NEW Customer Services who held the warranty. They directed me to Falcones. From the time I was contacted by Falcones to the time the set was fixed was less than 2 wks. They diagnosed the problem over the phone from my description as being the power board, ordered the part, and then came to my home. Communication was excellent. The morning of the service call, they called with an ETA of 9-9:30a and arrived at 9:25a. The engineer was very knowledgeable. He replaced the power board which was indeed the problem. Reattached everything. Verified that all the peripherals were working. And out the door at 10:05a. Very thorough. I highly recommend this small, family-owned company. more

I first went to Falcones for my Sony 42 inch LCD. It was just under a year old and the picture went bad, shoeing only green and red. I contacted Circuit City where I prurchased it and they told me to call Sony warranty service (Thanks for nothing). It was in warranty but Sony still thought I should pay for the arts. After much aguing I got Sony to pay for the entire repair at Falcones. 6 months later the same thing happened. I called Sony and battled long and hard to get them to pay for the repairs. Falcones was very helpful because they reported to Sony that it was the exact same problem as before and that there was a bigger problem. Sony finally agreed Thanks to Falcones. The TV has been working well ever since. I work in the IT indistry. I have installed many high tech systems in boardrooms. Many of the techs new Falcones by their good reputation. Months of waiting for nothing... 8/26/2008

I took my Elite receiver in over 8 months ago. My HDMI switching was not working and I thought a firmware update would do the trick. Because I had replaced the unit with a newer model, I was not in a hurry to get it back. After 8 months, they have done nothing. They never call you back. They never call to give you an update. When you call, the receptionist can't provide you with any information. They are truly a terrible company. It would be better if they tell you that they just can't fix it! I wouldn't trust them with any updates or repairs in the future. I couldn't believe someone gave them a perfect rating and that's why I decided to write this review. Cons: poor communications, inability to repair product! more

Helpful, and professional 2/4/2008

I have brought things to other servicers in the past, but I won't do that again. I would much rather wait for the best. I, personally, have patience to wait, even up to a year, because I know that the product will be fixed CORRECTLY. I understand that the tech does not have time to talk to the customer because if he did, he would not get anything done !!!! Why don't people realize that ??? There are also not enough competent repair places that even do the repairs that they handle. No one does DVD players, CD players, turntables, DJ equipment, VCR's and all that small ( non-profitable) items. People need to realize that and back off with the negative comments. These guys are great, and you are nuts not to give them your business. more

WORST experience i have ever had with a service center 10/30/2007

Falcone's electronic service center might be the most unprofessional group i have ever delt with. They have had my reciever for well over 3 moths now and nothing to show for it. I have not been able to speak to a tech in the last 3 weeks. I have left multiple messages requesting any information about progress. The secretary has been instructed to not bother any of the techs under any circumstance. This is the last place you should bring your equipment. more

Lazy, Unprofessional, Noncommunicative 8/20/2006

\r \r These folks have had my Onkyo receiver for 2 months now. I was told to expect 3-4 weeks. At 5 weeks I called (they never call you) and asked what the status was. I was told that they tried to fix it, but found more problems, so were waiting on more parts. The parts were to arrive w/in a week, they'd be installed, and I'd be called when it was ready to go. 3 weeks later, guess who hasn't been called. I tried to reach the technician 3 times today over the course of 7 hours, and never heard back. Tech hadn't even bothered to show up the first time I called a few minutes after 9. On my last call the receptionist told me that there were just too many problems and that they needed to send the unit to Onkyo. Had this already been done several weeks ago? No of course not. So now I get to wait another few months with a different service group, because Falcones doesn't have the authority to authorize replacements. Did they at least ship the unit immediately overnight to Onkyo? Nope. Not even when I asked specifically. It's going out grount... tomorrow. (It was only 4:15 when I called) Tomorrow I will have to call to double check that it was even sent out.\r \r If there's anyway to avoid using these guys, please avail yourself of it. If you were like me, and simply have no choice because they're the only ones who can handle your warranty service, begin calling them 2x/day IMMEDIATELY. The only way to spur them into action I can think of is to become an irritant. Don't even bother being nice. That got me nowhere for 2 months.\r more
