Enkore Kids

I visited this store while visiting my parents in MD. I was so impressed with the prices and the care that the owners take in what clothing that they accept. I also admire the personal interaction they have with their customers. They take the time to ask what you need. If they don't have it, you can set up a wish list and they will contact you when it arrives. Since I live in Illinois, I appreciate the fact that they will ship to me. It is hard to find a reasonably priced clothing and toy store that provides this personal attention. I highly recommend them. Great place to get back to school clothes at a great price. Halloween costumes are now in stock. They also have a great selection of new items -- Perfect for gift giving. Will shop here personally when I'm in town, and via internet when I'm at home in IL. more

I made the trip out to Enkore kids today and I can say it was not worth the 30 minute drive. The prices were high and,the toys were dirty and some were old. The toys on the shelves were a mess and some didn't have batteries so who knows if they even work. It even looked like they were selling expired car seats. I went there because I saw an add on Craig's list and wanted to check it out. I always like I good deal but I was not impressed.They did have some nice things but the prices were so high you would get a better deal at a yard sale or CL. I did buy a few puzzles but I noticed when I got home that one of them had been marked up in price from $9.99 to $12.99. more

I loved the store I thought it was very organized. And the people were very helpful.There was a lot to choose from.I went just for a couple pair of shorts for my 1 year old and found so many good deals and spent $20 and got so much stuff. more

I stopped in a few times when they were located in Frederick and was not impressed with their quality of clothes. I will admit I am looking for name brands when I shop consignment and they fell short in this department, the prices also seemed high for the quality of merchandise. more

They have great sales going on right now, no coupons needed. Clothing is 30% off, Melissa & Doug (OMG!) is 30% off until this Sat I think. I love Melissa and Doug and always find what I am looking for. They will even order something from the catalog they might not carry and I can pay and pick up in their store. Boonsboro is a nice little town and you can visit the store and have lunch near by. They have a lot on Ebay too and you can buy online or pay in the store and get stuff cheaper and quicker. ENKORE KIDS in Boonsboro. That was just my latest visit to this friendly, clean, well-stocked consignment store! I have been a long-time customer at Enkore Kids, as a buyer and a seller. I have found the owners to be absolutely fair and honest in their offers to buy nice quality used clothes and toys. And just about every time I go to shop, I find wonderful name brand things for my daughter : from nearly new Gap fleece hoodies to adorable Children's Place jumpers and Gymboree t-shirts and pants... you can't beat the value. You can always find something interesting at Enkore Kids. The new store is very large, nicely decorated, and clean. It is very easy to move around the aisles and see all the merchandise. They carry a wide selection of used clothing, toys, and equipment. This is an especially good store if you are expecting, or have an infant or toddler. They have cloth diapers, car seats, and baby/child carriers you won't find anywhere else. The staff can answer questions about the equipment and teach you how to use it. They carry things for older kids too - gently worn clothing, new art kits, Webkinz, and puzzles. You can find lots of unique gifts here for kids under 8 and your presents won't be run-of-the-mill commercial stuff. more

Shopping at Enkore Kids is a wonderful experience. The women that work there really know the products they are selling. They will help you find the perfect product for you. You can try on baby carriers and find the one that fits you and your child best as well as answer any of your questions about cloth diapers. Also you can get your car seat checked for free by a certified technician and know that you child is safe and secure. These ladies are also willing to create a wish list for you and call you when items come in . The prices are great and its wonderful that you don't have to wait for your items to sell to get your money.I Love this store!! more

I would recommend Enkore Kids because the clothes prices are reasonable and even get better when they have their great sales. . Don't ever miss their Basket Sales. They have a large selection of New Toys and Children Equipment as well as used toys some of which can't be found anymore. Yard sales do take a lot of time and gas and disappointment when it rains the day you want to go out. Here I can look around to my hearts delight put an item on a wish list and then get notified when it does arrive. I Love the larger new store in Boonsboro right up Alt 40 past Middletown .Can't wait till summer when the huge back deck gets filled with the larger items. What makes the store are the people. They have always been helpful about instructing how things like strollers and car seats work and even have a person certified to check out the fitting of your car seat and tell you how to wear your baby carrier. I've been shopping Enkore Kids for years and have always been very impressed with their quality and selection and the ladies that work there are very nice and know their kid stuff! They also have a wish list so when they don't have a particular item, I just let them know what I want and wait for a call. I just checked out their new store in Boonsboro - it's wonderful! Only the front room is ready, but even that is bigger than their old space. Definitely worth the trip. And they told me that they'll be putting more of their stuff on-line. I was not impressed with Enkore Kids. The price of the clothing is expensive for what you are getting. You can get the same quality at a yard sale and much cheaper. Many of the things that I looked at had piling on them and stains. For a buck or two you can buy brand new. more

Enkore Kids is a nice store, but you can usally find a used toy they are selling for a couple more dollars new at Target or Walmart. They have a nice Ebay store and they also have a wearhouse somewhere in Frederick. I have not been in there yet, but they are always advertising sales there so hopefully it is nice! They do sell nice clothes there for children and usally have good prices. They sell name brand clothes. more

This is a great store with great prices, products, and people. We have bought clothes here which were in very good condition at a very reasonable price. We also purchased stuff at their ebay store and went to pick it up and the item was always as described! They even give you credits towards future purchases to help you save more! more

This is a wonderful consignment shop for kids clothing and toys. They usually have a wide selection of used kids toys for an okay value. There store is laid out wonderfully, and even have a safe enclosed in area for your kids to play while you shop. There prices aren't the best ever, and sometimes you can buy it brand new for cheaper. They have an E-bay store too which is nice, because you can buy bigger items from there. They also sell a wide variety of Melissa and Doug products. These are very nice products but too expensive for me. They also sell Bumbo seats, which are really nice too. more
