Breath of fresh air! 2/8/2012

I have had the hardest time finding a stylist for my children's hair. Savannah at Elixir is not only incredibly warm she is very talented at what she does! I have had my friend as my stylist for a very long time but for the first time I was not only jealous of my children's experience at the salon I was jealous of the cut, style and blow out!! I cannot thank Savannah enough for doing such an amazing job and my kids are getting compliments left and right on how nice they look! more

Haircut 2/5/2012

My lastexperience on the 28th ofJanuary was horrible. The stylist Jim, would not listen to me and refused to cut my hair shorter, like a Lisa Rhinna hairstyle. He said, I looked slimmer with longer hair and would look too young?". I am fifty and want to look younger and it is my money$ I had to beg him to cut it shoulder length. His method of cutting was unusual and it took him 3hours to do my hair. I got a "New growth" hair color and style/ cut. He didn't even finish it and one side is longer than the other? I had to go home and fix it myself. Really for $65.00, I had to fix my own hair? A director did stop by and condoned his cut. When I left there I was so embarrassed! I love the salon and atmospher but, I will never use him for a cut or style. However, he has done a great job on the color/highlights! I was reffered and given given gift cards by two of my parent's (Amanda Harvey and Christy Ramsey)and they highly recommended you! They were disappointed to know that I had a bad experience? I suggest more training on Jim's haircut and style methods!My hair is very uneven and I need to go to another hairstylist that can fix it! more

Great job, nice people, but.... 2/2/2012

I appreciate the job that Elixir has done for both me and my family. However, all I get is a simple man's haircut--I forego the facial treatment, massage, etc. As a result, I'm usually in and out in 30 minutes. When they recently went up on the price, I decided that it was just bit too much to justify. I'm not John Edwards and don't care too spend that much ($55 w/ tip) on a basic cut. Unfortunately, I will miss the good folks at Elixir like Sedrick and Danielle. more

I followed Robert Herrera to Elixir! 2/2/2012

Having gone to Moutons for over 5 years, there were wonderings about the services at a new salon. NO worries! Robert is wonderful, as is Elixir! The staff is courteous, professional and the location is closer to home. Even with Elixir gift cards in hand, I had only visited to purchase Aveda products. Now, I'm finding it difficult to know how to spend my gift cards! Robert Herrera is the reason for my switch...call to book him, he is THE best! I've never received so many compliments on my hair - from complete strangers, even! The Elixir experience is just icing on my cake! more

Never a Bad Experience 1/29/2012

My friend and I randomly booked a pedicure at Elixir about 2 years ago. We thought it was the cutest spa! I have had almost every service the spa offers, and I have not had a bad experience yet. The staff is always professional and kind, and the services are always exceptional! I recommend this spa to everyone! more

Amazing Experience 1/26/2012

I had a pedicure and waxing. I brought a friend of mine and we both had an amazing experience. This was my 2nd visit and now i wont' go anywhere else. Hair color and cut 1/16/2012

First rate salon with talented and friendly stylists and staff. Ryan is exceptionally good with color and always gives me a fabulous cut. He takes my ideas and makes them better. more

Great experience! Our stylist was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. She didn't force services, but suggested what was necessary and beneficial. Many compliments on the hair. The recommended product is very nice and a tiny bit is all that is needed. Would recommend the salon and the product! more
